There are options besides an actual PC to run a node. Basically you need a 1tb hard drive and as little as a raspberry pie. You can buy plug and play nodes also.

Nostr runs so much better on my PC. The problem with a node on the PC you use is that you dont want it shutting down. Even if you try not to you'll still have to shutdown/restart for updates and things.
