Okay I did it! I bought a new backpack. After quite some consideration and talking with the guys in two shops I finally bought a #Vaude 24+4.
Sounds like a lot of volume but camera +2 lenses consume an ugly amount of space. But it's half a kg lighter than my old backpack now!
I struggled a bit as I paid quite a bit more than ordering in the Internet, but the support and consultation in the shop justifies the price to me. They took quite some time and explained a lot.

Yesterday I realized that I don't have a polarizer filter for my wide lens - instead I'm carrying one around for a lens that I don't own any more 🤦🏻‍♂️
Now I ordered a set-up adapter ring... Let's see if that was a good idea.

I really like the second hand market. I sold my Fitbit a pullover and two old USB microphones that I didn't use for ages - no waste but reused (and got back some money as well).

I think I watched too many #mtb videos on YouTube - I'm very keen on finding some nice tracks around. We have a lot of forest roads which are usually very well maintained and aren't very difficult to ride. Most of the hiking trails are just too steep or rough to ride them with the bike (for me!).
Maybe I have to scout older, abandoned forest roads. 🤔

Today I almost lost my phone. I didn't grab it tightly and dropped it. Aside the trail, on a steep slope, covered with frozen grass and leaves... My phone has excellent sliding attributes as I learned.
I jumped after it (maybe not smart), followed it sliding until I fell.
After some search I wanted to intercept hikers to call the phone. But LUCKILY I saw it - stopped by a branch. A little injured, dirty and reliefed I climbed back up ~50m to the trail ... and decided to secure it next time.

Friends! Last but not least, here is another #photo of the river leaving the lake in this #frosty #winter day. The weeks before, clouds were hanging low over the lake, -the days after, temperatures rose and melted all the #snow away.
Seems like I got to this spot at the right day! I' just grateful.
I really like the white frosty #trees as a contrast to the darker #river
I hope you enjoy the calm mood together with me.

The three-dot-menus are English on profile pages
The three-dot-menus are German in the notifications list and in the feed lists.
Should I file a bug report with Screenshots or screen cast on codeberg.org or is this here sufficient information?

@npub1ehd…udlw hmmm seems like since the update there's an issue with localization.
I have a phone with german settings but put the language on Fedilab on english. On some dialoges the three-dots-context menu on toots is shown in german in some it's in english.
If you aren't aware of it yet I'll try to figure out where I see it in german even though it should be in english.
