Unbelievable. Totally warped. Insane.
Trump initiated an illegal war against Iran. Iran retaliated in the only way it could. First attacking US bases in the Gulf region and then escalatinng to hit oil facilities. Gulf states are victims of this war! Why do they have to pay anything to the US? Trump should be asking Israel to pay for the US military cost. Another Iraq and Syria in the making? Will there be an Iranian refugee crisis? US failed policies don’t affect the US much. The Middle East is a long way away. Europe, in contrast, won’t be that lucky. Britain, France and Germany are very eager cheerleaders of violence, and they might end up paying steeper prices for their mindless warmongering.

What the Western governments have done with their tax money.
No board-certified emergency doctors remains in Gaza. They have all been killed.

The US government is actively recruiting more immigration agents by offering great compensation packages. They will become a private army of the President paid for by taxpayers.
Once the number of ICE agents grows bigger, no one with foreign accents will be safe. They will then go after “unpatriotic” citizens. It has happened before more than once in the US.

@nprofile…r5mx You don't need to be rude. Just sharing information to highlight how widely spread the contamination from the nuclear tests in the Pacific was. Very few Americans know it. Japanese rice more contaminated from radioactive fallout back then than after Fukushima nuclear explosions.

@nprofile…r5mx Japan also was impacted by these nuclear tests. The US tested a particularly large bomb in 1954 irradiating a Japanese foshing boat in the Pacific. Japanese mothers discovered that they had been feeding contaminated tuna to their families and got mobilized to ban nuclear tests. Unions also took part and they collected 31.6 million signatures on their petition--half of the eligible Japanese voters at the time.

European countries should tell the US to pack up its military bases in Europe. If the US is threatening to undo NATO, there’s no point having US military bases on European soil.
China doesn’t have any military bases around Europe and is no threat to Europe. Ask China to be the intermediary with Russia. Russia will end the war if the US military is leaving Europe.

I have said this again and again. I'm extremely disappointed with Europe. It doesn't surprise me that the US doesn't care about human rights. It's a country that chooses to have elementary school kids do active shooter drills instead of introducing a stricter gun control.
Witnessing the Social Democrats and the Greens in Germany--just to name the few--normalize starvation of children has profoundly shocked me. I will never be able to overcome this shock.

Second, you tell citizens that genocide is a good thing and empathy is a sign of moral decay.
Third, you start treating “Arabs” in your country the same way. It could be anything, just make up a crime. Lock them up.
Fourth, go after other minorities one by one.

The sense of impunity and vilification of “Arabs” are staggering. This is what happens when US politicians—both Democrats and Republicans —have made it clear that slaughtering Palestinians is no crime.
One of the two Israeli victims who got shot was so sure that the attacker was an “Arab” and it was an antisemitic attack. In reality, it was an Islamophobic attack by a Jewish guy with a clear intent to kill as he had misidentified two Israelis as “Palestinians.”

Scholtz cannot have it both ways. Germany happily supports a far-right ethnonationalist foreign government and cracks down on peaceful protests against its crime against humanity. I talked to a few students in the encampment. They are the most peaceful, kind and pure people standing firmly & stubbornly for justice. They've been harassed by parents who are on campus for their kids' graduation. I've overheard a couple of graduating seniors explaining to their angry parents about their fellow students' constitutional right to protest. I felt proud as a college professor. These students are our treasure. I almost cried. #protest #students
