@nprofile…m3qg @nprofile…0vne this is the first time I've ever heard blates used in this context, reading "nice flat bottom" and a term for timid didn't make me think of dinnerware :blobcatpeek:

@nprofile…sq5t @nprofile…66ct @nprofile…h6f2 well, none of those points are inherently communist anyways so there would not be much to compare to. (I don't say that anyone has to agree with them for that, it's just not really communism because that would be the polar opposite if you look at the communist countries of the world and how they handled criminals). I've noticed that a lot of things people in the US call socialist or communist is still just your standard capitalist fare but with some health-care sprinkled on top. (I don't say it's better or worse), which is kinda confusing.
I will say though, that it sounds like the US has some insane social issue if that many inhabitants think petty crime is worth it to make due instead of just working a normal day job. I don't really understand how the culture around people being without work or basic amendments is like, but it feels like you could curb-stomp a lot of these crimes by working that social bottom-line issue for some generation or two, since statistically speaking making punishment harder / longer usually just results to the person doing the crime usually just results in the criminal working harder in not getting caught (which a lot of times just includes murder instead). It also feels to me that it would go hand in hand with Christian values, with forgiveness and all that jazz.
But on the other hand, just like a lot of EU nations right now, it's hard to go to election with that mindset since nobody would vote for you since the results are so far off i guess.
Anyways, sorry for bothering you and thanks for giving me some of your time.

@nprofile…sq5t @nprofile…66ct @nprofile…h6f2 i don't deny that he said that or that he went for an election as mayor with it, i was mostly asking which of the points that are society breaking. (Like i said, it's rather hard for some standard eu boy to understand why most of those bullet points would inherently be bad when i look at how the prison system as an example works currently).
But alas, i might just need to read more about it. Maybe it's a cultural difference or what not

@nprofile…sq5t @nprofile…66ct @nprofile…h6f2 which of the bullet points that the picture has state this? I'm sorry if i seem daft, but it's not really clear for me as someone from the eu zone.

@nprofile…sq5t @nprofile…66ct @nprofile…h6f2 >various items to bring about the revolution by breaking society
To me a lot of these things seem like stuff other countries have run with for years at this point, can it really be that society breaking since the prison system already doesn't work in the US?

@nprofile…plxw I'll find out, I like LAD enough to pick up the sequel. I was worried it would not translate well into the jrpg genre but honestly, this is one of the best Yakuza installments to date

2024-11-22 17:51:10 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…plxw I think they lowkey did this because the game is super self aware about being a jrpg. I mean, it makes fun about the common tropes all the time. But if the dungeon design is meant to be a joke, its not a very funny one :lain:

@nprofile…plxw I can tell, some bosses and uh, events would be very very hard if I didn't do this. Like, I had one encounter almost oneshotting people and I can't imagine me beating it unless the characters already were rather powered up aha

2024-11-22 17:28:33 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…plxw I've had no issues with it so far, but I think its because I have brain damage after 100% the original 6 games and don't notice it as much. I kinda do a lot of side stuff so my characters are rather beefed up

@npub1qh0…xeda yeah, the system itself if you are going to buy the games is one of the most expensive ones. There is a MVS build you can do since the AES is even more expensive that lands you below 350~400€ for a working system with a flash cart, but you'd have to be a real fan to front that money for one anyways.

2024-06-03 11:22:46 UTC

Oh also, I was VERY close during the con to buy a CPS2 with Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Kiiiinda regret it, but at the same time if I would get an arcade board it would probably be a Neo Geo MVS.
