It's one of the things that cryptobros seem to keep rediscovering over and over again (and still not learning their lesson) - there's no way to actually build a "smart contract" that actually does everything you think it does without any potential of abuse when someone exploits an edge case the developer didn't think of.
The real world is just messy. That's why we have humans as judges - both formally in the judicial system or administratively in companies and departments - to actually look at the situation and figure out the right thing to do.

Embarrassed Coming Out day for those who are ashamed.
And a Not Today Coming Out Day for those who are not yet ready.
It's okay to have lots of feelings on a day like today. That's okay. You'll be ready whenever you're ready. And even if you're never ready, that's okay too. There's no "right way" to be queer. You're just you. You're pretty damn cool, and I'm glad to be sharing a world with you.
It's been 6 years for me since my first timid throwaway account coming out on Reddit. It's been a weird ride. Better than expected in many ways. Different than expected in most ways. Some parts are worse than expected. But at the end of it all, I'm still me, just a me in different packaging who has stopped lying to the world about who I am. And that's not nothing.
