@nprofile…dffe Hope this puts the tools in the hands of everyone to make those decisions. I'm seeing the same spam/seo feeds popping up on multiples hosts (ausha, spreaker, podbean, etc). If Ausha can see an abuse happening on Buzzsprout, that gives them a heads up to put the blocks in place too. I think the visibility helps everybody.

The 24 hour feed report is now carrying the extra information as well. It's basing it's determination on the LLM analysis if available instead of just keyword heuristics.

Podping gossip is hitting an issue where the writer can sometimes get isolated into a part of the hyparview tree where all of its peers will not forward. I’m not sure if @nprofile…zjzz has a mechanism for recovering from this or not. Trying to think of a workaround.

1. Yes, what you describe should work but I've had someone else tell me recently that it didn't for them so I'll have to go troubleshoot that. [sigh]
2. While it *does* work, it's not immediate. That just puts it in the queue for eventual polling. I *think* what Martin wants is to be able to do an immediate insert. I also need this for another thing I'm doing.

@nprofile…7epg $100/mth. If you hit your plan usage cap there is a cooldown period of a few hours and then it resets to zero. I use it every day and I've never hit the cap.

@nprofile…peg3 I think it’s the DHT tracker. I may just have to remove that part for now and just go back to a bootstrap node list. It’s making the debug process more cumbersome than it should be. I think the actor within that crate is stalling out. The whole process hangs so that SIGINT is ineffective.

And, if you feel like donating some disk space to the cause, also set ARCHIVE_ENABLED=true to turn your gossip-listener into an archive node to serve catchup requests to other nodes.
Archiving is a thing we can do a lot with, including @nprofile…cyex 's work on podping over AT protocol. But, this gets a rudimentary mechanism in place for the mechanics of 'catch up' to be fleshed out.

If you are a podping gossip tester, set a friendly name on your node with:
NODE_FRIENDLY_NAME="my awesome node"
...as an env variable when launching the listener. It makes choosing which nodes to add to your trust list easier. Think of it like a dns host name for the gossip swarm.

The auto-chapters in 26.2 Apple Podcasts is really slick. I’ve had to now move Apple Podcasts icon to my Home Screen next to Castamatic for the podcasts I listen to that don’t provide their own chapters. It’s a game changer for about 6 hours of work related podcasts I listen to each week that I’m constantly fast forwarding through because of topics I’m not interested in.

There is a tags folder in src. To support a new tag, create a module in that folder.
Will keep refining the structure to make it as maintainable as we go.

@nprofile…ge5x @nprofile…h5le The bigger problem is when it happens in the other direction, with people only changing in AP and not setting the http redirect. Or creating identical shows on multiple hosts and never removing the old one to make it 404.
The feedburner (and http -> https in general) is one I've seen but I can't change them all in mass, because some people still have http:// as the scheme in AP.
