That's not necessarily true. All of my AR-pattern rifles have a floating hand guard, and as such they are only attached at one end. A quad-rail attached in such a fashion would absolutely be sturdy enough to be used for all sorts of purposes like laser aiming modules and whatnot.
So... The only thing "wrong" is exposing the gas tube. IMO.

The guard doesn't cover the gas tube, which, if not protected, will be the weakest point of the rifle, especially if you're in a sustained firefight and it gets really hot and soft.

You'd want at least 60kWh of battery.
And no. Modern LiFePo4 cells are good for decade. Plus, they only gradually decline in capacity, not usually die suddenly (unless the BMS pukes).

Lemme do some math...
.4kWh x 24 hours = 9.6kWh total.
Multiply by a factor of about 20% for conversion losses and equipment use (the might be a low estimate, as it depends on the load being DC or AC and the overall equipment efficiency): about 11.52kWh
So, round that up to 12kWh of storage needed to run your constant load.
You'll need to figure out how many "sun hours" you average in the spot you want to put up panels. This simply means how much solar irradiance you get to harvest with panels. This depends on terrain and latitude. You plan for the worst days of the year, and his many sun hours you expect with the sun that low. Let's say you can get 3.
You need to generate 12kWh of juice in 3 hours, so 4kWh per sun hour. This means you should target over 4kW of panels.
The rest of the year, you will get a huge amount of excess solar coming in.

They are under the impression that it is an artificial intelligence, not an gobsmackingly retarded word picker.
Couple that with the LLMs being dementedly trained to give abbess answers instead of saying "I don't know," people who are gullible are being dangerously deluded.
Outside of coding, most LLMs are too retarded for much else without very deep pockets for a tech stack to increase context, or use alternatives like RAG, to make it a bit less retarded. Useful for research or focused document analysis.
I'm just not much of a fan the more I learn about this.

The reasons for that are pretty well established, IMO.
Nostr doesn't generally provide the same addicting experience, there's very little to keep attention seeking whores around, and the current average nostrich is both too smart and too independent to put up with most influencer nonsense. (At least in my corner of the nostrverse.)
I am an advocate for slow growth over pushing for exponential adoption, mostly because the current infra is utter trash and while there is good development going on, the worst thing to happen would be a million people overloading poorly equipped relays.

Talking to the regular postal letter carrier, she hates the new goofy trucks. Being semi-rural to rural, the design of a larger, taller truck isn't great. The back of the truck has a much higher tailgate, and you aren't supposed to step on the bumper because the cover is plastic and wires run right under the cover. (That's utter stupid design.) The side door is not as convenient, especially if you're on a high-crown road or are parked onto a low shoulder, which is why she laments having poor rear access.
These were obviously designed for cities and towns.
