It's a matter of energy input vs. Output.
It's a proven fact in the US that the corn ethanol uses more energy than it "saves." They just keep it going because of big farm pushing subsidies through federal law. 🙄

I can fill up the tank on my own. That's the point. It's not even hard, it just takes some time.
Electronic engine controls are not what I'm referring to. Specifically, the fact that by law in many countries, remote kill switches are required to be supported and then actively mandated. I'm very, very uncool with that. I'll never own a vehicle with an internet connection.

Sure.
Drive up prices on rare earth metals and increase strip mining while increasing dependence on China for the dirty bits of refining ores.
That process still relies on cheap hydrocarbons.
There is no cheap hydrocarbons because of regulation and taxes and because demand keeps increasing because nuclear isn't being built out to accommodate growth.
So... All of this is doomed to fail when one of those links gets cut or fails.
Plus... Electric cars are fully externally controllable. I can run nearly any ICE with self-brewed hooch, biodiesel, or even wood gas. Can't do that with electric. I'll always bias my long term plans towards independance instead of increasing dependence on centralized systems.

Except for the stuff we at GitCitadel are still developing for handling uploading The Bible and other complicated documents.
But also... That data volume is a huge challenge to process it into properly organized data that's indexed and accessible via regular clients.
Most regular clients can't handle documents, anyway.
So... The issue is what you do with it all. 🤷‍♂️

I touched up the edge and it cuts smoother than before. I'll likely pull it all the way apart and refinish it completely, but only after I take apart the and repair the second drawknife that's in much worse shape...

How do you keep track of and manage all your SSH stuff? I am a total newb at this . . . and with very few things I need to SSH into, it is getting kinda overwhelming.
I've mostly been keeping a few files with passwords, but . . . that isn't great opsec, so, that is why I am asking more experienced devs.
Are there any linux terminals that integrate with KeepassXC, which I have been begrudgingly using for password and TOTP stuff?

No it doesn't.
Lowtech metjods:
1. When you turn the computer on, switch on the second PSU.
2. Use a beefy power strip and use the switch on that to turn the whole system on at once.
No need to get fancy.
Sidenote:
Do not run 2x900W plus PSUs on the same circuit for long. (If on a North American power grid.)
The duty cycle of most 20A wall outlets and wiring is not at all safe for a continuous 1800W load.
Also, you had best make sure that the grounding for all PSUs is very good with very low resistance between them, or that can cause voltage issues.
(Which is another advantage of linking the PSUs, now that I'm thinking about it.)

Yes and no. VRAM is the most important thing. I'm currently running a GTX 1070 with 8gb of VRAM and for under 8b LLMs, it does super well.
The issue is that low VRAM will limit a lot of the functionality of any complex tech stack running any variety of the claw stuff.
I'll be getting 16gb of VRAM soon, plus waaaay higher bandwidth, so that should make things useable. I'd consider that bare minimum.
There are some decent options that aren't as cheap and have their own strengths and weaknesses, but I'm still learning as I go, and only a newb. So... Maybe don't listen to me too hard. 🤣
