Stories move us. Stories contain truth on many levels (if the stories are good). Stories do not need to be written to be transmitted, and, if they are good stories, they are so densely packed with information that special people are selected to be the ones to tell the stories. (Most cultures I'm aware of have equated story telling/truth/religious authority.)
But... There are only two stories that are told.
1. (Generally) You are the plaything of the gods. Do not anger them lest you turn their eyes to you and you upend your life by their meddling. (This summarizes nearly all mythology I've ever come across.)
2. You are created in the image of the Most High God, who wants you to co-create with Him and build a perfect garden paradise.
I happen to think the second story is the actual truth, even if the mythologies do contain many facts about the world that are overlooked, their perspective is intentionally skewed.

I admit to being terrible as a sysadmin. It took me a few hours to get an Ubuntu VM running in my Proxmox server with the first drive attached so I could attempt to install my first BTC node.
I haven't been able to figure out how to install knots. I keep being a bunch of errors that make no sense to me. Even using what LLM access I have just loops into a frustrating mess, so that's enough for tonight.

Temperature measurements are useful. Celsius is arbitrary, even if it is usefully arbitrary. We humans are just attached to water, but the freezing and boiling point is varied based on content and pressure. So, that isn't even a good standard because I'd rather be out on the woods than a lab kept to "standard conditions."

The biggest issue is the relays. Of you stick with the same relays, the feed will be mostly the same, if they read the relays correctly.

That's... The point. Literally. You can do anything you like with the protocol. There never has been nor will there be consistency across clients. You *can* make it more consistent if *you* put in the work to make it so. (Running you're own relay and setting your clients to point to that instead of whatever other relays you've been using.)
Nostr DMs do suck, but they are getting better.
Your analogy of fishing nets is very good. Where you cast the net and when you cast it change everything.

Those things are super solid. My dad has one that's 25 or so years old and I can lay some really great beads with that. I do wish it was multi input, though, as it doesn't have enough juice for some things.

Oh! Right.
The navigation tiles don't match what needs to be done. They don't match up with anything I've ever seen before and this is not a good place to try to be unique. The aesthetic is good.
Also, there's no volume control for the voice guide. This is absolutely necessary.
The voice guide pronounces things very well, but is VERY disjointed in how it produces speech, e.g.:. Turn... Right... On XXX road in 500..... Meters.
I don't know of this can be tuned, because it is very disconcerting and annoying.

I always utilize three button navigation. The speed indicator is not rendering correctly, IMO, for this configuration. I really do like the design of the indicator and most of the nav screen.
I would like more zoom out when speed goes over 100kph.

"Exit the ramp" is terrible English. This should read "take b exit XXX," as the exit number from the interstate is most definitely part of the OSM data for that road.

The tract for the labels is much too small for having my phone mounted on a dash mount.

As you can see, when I select one of the report types, the keyboard covers the text box. I can scroll it up to confirm what is typed before sending the report, but this is obviously less than ideal while driving.

This is on my return trip. The police presence I reported on the first leg of my journey did not trigger a warning on the return. Many of these kinds of divided highways have connections where police sit or construction and maintenance crews turn around. It would be better to have an alert for these kinds of roads show up both ways. If at all possible. (Waze does this a bit differently.)
Overall, it's very good. I'm still getting the voice repeating "starting on XXX road." Honestly, I'd just eliminate that all together.
Other things:
- The voice guidance is not relinquishing audio control correctly. I had to manually restart my podcasts after every voice event.
- 3km is much too far for a notification preview. Also, the voice navigation shouldn't be giving the next instruction immediately after the next section of the trip is made. This is confusing and not helpful.
-Both legs of my trip ended prematurely just after making the last turn. This left me with no guidance 750m from my destination in my way out, and 500m on my way home. This needs to be fixed.
