Professor problems… my building is closed out of an abundance of caution, as there’s a safety and security concern. No less than three messages went out about it. A super entitled graduate student decided not to heed any of the messages and came to the office anyways, and is mad at me because nobody is there to let her in to her workspace. She even told my director on me (who also happened to message about the building being on lockdown). What the actual fuck…

Today in the life of an overworked, burnered out, subclinically depressed scientist: my graduate student research assistant used the wrong statistical analyses for a report going to the state... I now have 312 analyses to rerun correctly, and hours of editing the corresponding figures… due in two days. There went all my weekend plans.
