I learned to tile from a cousin in the trade when he helped renovate my house.

This morning's run to start the day.
"Keep running so death can't catch up" Mr Adams (my high school coach)
I amit I only started running again last year, for the first time in 15 years. In the past I've have searing arch pain from flat feet, bad knees, lower back pain.
Back then I switched to low impact activities like swimming, cycling and yoga to strengthen my legs, core and back.
Then over the last 10 year steady strength training in the gym with 5 mins warm up on treadmills.
Last August I stopped eating breakfast, switch to more animal based diet, cut sugar and alot of carbs. I dropped 15 lbs since last Aug.
Last week I did 9.3kms in an hr. A personal best.
Your body can come back from pain and do amazing things you never thought possible. Keep your eye on the outcomes you're trying to achieve, believe in yourself and put in the work.

My wife is on a spa retreat with her best friend. I had the kids of my own this weekend. We went to maketplace after music class to grab lunch (with live music), quality meat and fresh #Ontario produce. We met the farmers where our food comes from.
Then we came home to play in the sprinkler while I cut the grass. My son who is 4 helped cut the veggies and put the skewers together. Delish meal and scarfed it down to fill their bellies. Then passed out in our bed while washing a nature show: Secrets of the Octopus.
Dads remember to give your wives time to recharge their batteries. It's also a great opportunity to take your kids of adventures and have them contribute more when Mommy is not home. You will bond with them and they will gain more independance and grow faster than you realize.

#Welcome my friend @npub1eg8…mz9a that I met at the airport. While our flight was delayed for 7 hrs and counting..
He has an interesting story. He was stranded in Canada since the pandemic started. A nurse that refused the vaccine and couldn't work when we needed Healthcare professionals and wasn't allowed back home because of the restrictions.
He doesn't have much left but still a positive attitude. He has to throw out his bags out because he couldn't pay for the luggage that the US embassy said they would pay for to get him back in the US. Btw he had to through out his scrubs for work that he will has to buy again to work when he eventually gets home.
While we wait for United to change a light bulb for the emergency light that was out, I got him a coffee and a beer he now has WOS and own his first 12k sats that I set him up with and is on Nostr. He has started his orange pill journey.
