I've been saying that parts of this is what we've been needing---less bloat, leaner agencies, but the insane way of going about it is really hurting people.
EVERY SINGLE administration since Reagan could have done this same thing without the cruelty attached, without the wildly swinging tariffs and confusion.
When Democrats try (I'm guessing they must have, probably poorly) it never went anywhere.
