Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts and your understanding.
We're trying to somehow move on and distract ourselves but it's difficult.
Today we packaged and sent out the next batch of #strategiesagainstalgorithms
I recorded three songs on it ("Trendula", "Niar" and "The Artist In The Vineyard") while staying with Buba in our friends' cabin at the foot of the Reinhardswald forest. Now I'll treasure those times and those tracks even more.

I have decided to dedicate the next couple of weeks to try and finsih my 3rd album, "Strategies Against Algorithms" , a loosely connected suite of quite reduced and personal #protest songs.
This “Offline Album” will only be available in exchange for something creative and personal – and strictly offline.
To stay motivated (and to "promote" it without feeling bad about it, which I usually do), I have decided to share a little bit about the creative process here.

A little bit more of me noodling around with the VL-70 and the Kurzweil…
The intonation of the Cornet is far from perfect, as the patch seems to have a few peculiarities *and* I still find the WX-7 controller hellishly difficult to play… ;-)
Still I think it sounds quite nice.

I have an intense dislike of #AI generated "art"; I even feel dirty having this throwaway mockup generated… so I'd really appreciate it if someone had the muse to help me out with this project.
"Mitosis" (as the game is called) is a strategy game played on a 7x7 grid. For the main screen, I need the game board embedded in some kind of laboratory scene (test tubes and instruments to the left and right and below the board), like in this ugly mockup here.

I'm currently writing a little retro game for the #mega65 computer (mainly to get my mind off a couple of things; but don't worry, I'll be back to producing music in no time ;-))

Quick update: I’ve been dealing with epicondylitis for 7 weeks and now caught myself a lovely little flu for good measure — 39°C fever, stuck in bed for days, feeling like total crap. So I won't be presenting/performing new original material anywhere soon, nor I'll assemble, party, hangout etc. pp.

So here's the thing: I'd really love to use #Ardour for my next album, cause I don't want to continue working with something from a company sucking up to America's regime
Only problem is: I can't
I'm using 3 different audio interfaces via #pipewire 1.2.4, and Ardour keeps on forgetting USB audio and MIDI connections over restarts (or suspends), forcing me to make each connection again, which sucks.
First person to solve this for me gets a present and a special credit in the liner notes.

Last year I found myself needing to have some 10000 pictures automatically tagged.
I found that all existing software either cost a silly amount of money, required a subscription, and/or was cloud based.
So I decided to write an #opensource App running on the local machine, free for everyone to use. Here it is.
