I avoid the bathroom scale, but few weeks ago went to the doctor and I got weighted… and got this same result 😓🐁…

I don’t sleep much. I am a night owl 🦉 People often tell me that people who sleep more live longer, that I’m going to die younger.
But, if I have been awake for more hours, haven’t I already lived more?
With my poor sleeping habits, I have been more hours awake than my friends of my age, so it makes sense to me to feel like an old lady among them… Does this make any sense?

Dear tree;
Are you happy?
Sinking in the river,
Feeling the water?
I wish I could sit
Here like you for ages
Not having to leave
Not going anywhere
But life is fast
and sometimes stressful
I’m living in a rush
don’t remember why
Watching you here
Makes me question
Why I was hurried
Why the pressure
You seem so calm
No time, no nothing
You sit and enjoy
The flowing water
I need to be
more like you
Let life flow
And problems too
To be more calm
To enjoy life more
Get rid of stress
Sink and let go
Goodbye friend tree!
My trip is ending
I’m glad I met you,
You have changed me

I haven’t put it myself in practice but have seen very close family members doing keto diet with intermitent fasting and they have lost a lot of weight.
Basically what I have seen from the outside: they eat lots of protein (eggs and meat mainly) , no carbs and no sugar (that includes no fruits).
Related to intermitent fasting, they skip dinner, they skip breakfast when possible (if they have breakfast is eggs) and at lunch they have a huge meal.
I’ve seen the effects and it really works, but it requires powerwill (I don’t have enough yet to follow that rythm) and being very strict. It’s not low carbs, it is zero carbs.

Ah I get your point. I didn’t mean asking her directly if she likes flowers, I didn’t explain myself well 😅. If you ask her that, then you kill the surprise. I mean that if it is the first time you are going to give her flowers, try to be sure (or try to reduce the risk) that she wouldn’t be scared by interpreting it as an “I love you”. Just to save guys from the bad experience of kindly giving flowers and getting rejected because it felt like a too heavy of a message.

2026-02-25 19:17:56 UTC

- reply

Interesting. Why do you think so?

2026-02-25 11:35:35 UTC

Pro tips that nobody asked on how to give flowers to your girl without messing up (coming from a biased nostr girl who loves flowers):
1. Be sure she wants to receive them. For some reason (that I don’t understand yet, but have seen it in many friends) some girls get scared when they receive flowers “too early”. My hypothesis is that they interpret them as “I love you”. Just keep that in mind if you don’t mean that.
2. Don’t use them as an apology. You’ll turn flowers into a bittersweet sign. You want to make her happy every time she receives them, don’t transform them in the reminder of sad moments… cause she probably remembers the last time you gave flowers to her and you don’t want to remind her your last fight.
3. It has to be unexpected. Don’t make her expect flowers on her birthday. Then you’ll hate flowers cause they’ll feel an expensive obligation. Send them to her a random day, and not too frequently, scarcity makes them more special. If you want to send her on a special date it’s ok, but don’t be consistent, so that it is a surprise too.
Disclaimer: do buy her a birthday present please, just not flowers every time.
4. Which flower doesn’t really matter, unless you know she hates some kinds, it is alergic to them or she is too picky. The size of the bouquet is not relevant either. The important thing is the message: he bought this beautiful, useless thing for me, which he doesn’t understand why I like them, but just because he wanted me to smile today.
Any other doubts? Any complaints? Have you tried these things and think it’s actually bad advice? Would love to know other girls opinions too.

GM! Happy wife, happy life. Mr Crumb sure knows how to make me smile! 💐 😊
JK, these flowers are not mine. I was just holding them for a friend, 2 years ago and found the picture today in my gallery.
But the truth is, he makes me happy anyway, no flowers needed.
(Unless you are reading this and get inspired… Buy the flowers. She’ll love them)

What do you think about marriage ultimatums? I can’t help feeling a bit sad when I hear a couple got engaged that way… Am I the only one who feels that way?
Lately, I’ve seen quite a few women I know give their boyfriends an ultimatum lately and then received the ring, so technically, it “worked”.
Still, I can’t help but wonder if marriage ultimatums might lead to insecurities later on, on both sides.
Or maybe I’m just being judgmental about others people’s decisions🤭 But when it happens to people I care about, I can’t help but worry.

GM 👋 Tiny purple flowers spotted. They look like little purple corals to me. I’d never seen it before.
A little search later: it’s called billygoat weed (Ageratum conyzoides)… Pretty, but toxic if eaten 🌿⚠️

Sad news: one of the two little southern lapwing chicks got drowned in the pool 😭
Hoping the other one makes it and learns to fly.
RIP 🕊️

Baby southern lapwing in the garden. He hasn’t learned to fly yet so his parents are all day close to him and his brother watching them and protecting them…

LOL I’m too slow with jokes… I now realize what you meant 🤭 … In my defense in my language the appliance is also femenine… and I translated it literally

I used to think that a dishwasher was an unnecessary appliance for a 2 person home…. Now I have one and I love it
