as a very frequent indie book reader, I ADORE BookFunnel. It’s perfect. Great service, wonderful way to get my books downloaded, sideloaded and they have a pretty solid reader app. Love, love, love!
As an indie author I really like BF because they make the customer service side of things easier. I just provide the link to my customers and BF helps and answers the questions. Well worth it to me.

The Linux machine is up and running. Typing on it right now. Yay!
The drawing monitor is NOT up and running though I did finally get it to connect. Boo!
The cords behind my desk are much more organized and the dust bunny colonies (multiple) have been eradicated. Ugh.
Homework for the Branding class I'm taking is done & turned in. Whew!
I have no words yet. *groan*
At least I have fresh pulled pork for dinner that I didn't have to cook.

Question for Linux people:
I've just bought a Linux mini computer with Ubuntu preloaded on it. I know what programs I'm going to install for the various things I'll use it for.
I do NOT know what to do for security.
IN TERMS UNDERSTANDABLE TO A NOOB, please point me at programs / reliable resources to learn what security I need on my new machine.
It's still in box as this week was hell. I'd like to unbox and start using soon. Ish.

They've got most everything I need, though I do tend to search Amazon to find things.
But I'm an indie author so I'm committed to buying as directly as possible. My goal is always to buy from the writer's store instead of Amazon or Kobo, if I can.

I use Kobo on a Boox or my phone and then search to see if I can get the book direct from the author's website first.
