Working on the Myrne games. Which are sci-fi and fantasy (sometimes both) lighthearted RPGs.

I get the general idea but just to be clear: "flipping a switch" to force AI unto your consumer base does not mean those people will use AI.
It's also not something we should celebrate. It's just a shitty company pushing their bs on everyone, as usual.

Belgian here. I don't know a single person that supports Israel, but our government is made of neo-liberals and fascists (which is basically the same imho)

I feel we're in some kind of transition period. I can see the benefit of all those frameworks but someone need to come up with something similar to game engines but for web.
Install ONE software on your machine (+ eventual plugins) and your backend on your server and done.
We'll lose some customization but let's face it... we're just displaying and sending stupid forms 80% of the time, why are we needing 10 000 different tools for that job? :D

How did people manage to do #webdev before #chatgpt ?
It looks like the whole thing is just made to break our sanity.
Want to install that thing? Oh here's a list of 10 things you have to install first. Be aware that if any of those things update and another doesn't, your project will be stuck in a limbo forever.
Ok, here's the 15 json and config files you have to change/create to use the new thing you installed...
Each command you have to type will threw 50+ warnings, it's perfectly normal

I have some medical issue with my ear, which makes me very sleepy somehow but still managed to get some progress done on the energy system.
Working on the batteries charger. I really like having some kind of rituals/habits when coming back from mission in games and I think recharging batteries is a nice one (I'll make sure it doesn't turn into annoying busywork).
Probably also a rare chance this could appear during runs.

I tried bluesky and it was awful, lacking the most basic features.
I'll never understand why mastodon isn't more used. It works great and has a very welcoming community, maybe it's for the best though.

Some change of decor.
Crashing the ship in a forest was too unoriginal and didn't felt hopeless enough.
I'm not sure I'll keep the desert yellow either. I really like how it curently looks but I wonder if a more alien look wouldn't be better. I'll probably do some tests at some point.
I'm currently reading tons of Jack Vance (Dying Earth) and the more I read it, the more I want this game to have a distant land vibe. I want it to be foreign and weird.
