@npub16ys…sjae I know you didn't have much to do with the actual print and publish but the books from Silly Studios and their Pepper & Carrot Kickstarter are finally here any THEY ARE A BLAST! So happy about the quality and to have those comics of yours now available even for a quiet time without internet and drama :)

So Jekyll is "close enough" in MD syntax to just e.g. throw a copy pasta from Joplin over and modify 1-2 things and hit save to use? Huh... I could see that work as a first draft to get going and somehow "automating" it later on if that's the case. After having run dozens of CMS sites over the years, I'm just tired by most of it and speed+security are so much better to get with static site generators like Jekyll, Hugo or Mkdocs that I'd love to use this instead of patching other systems :)

Perhaps one of the gurus in personal knowledge tools (or local Wikis) like eg Obsidian, Joplin, Logseq or whatnot can help me.
I'm looking for something along the lines of those tools or a local wiki where I can simply add my documentation or other tech stuff in it. Really like the idea of wiki style linking, tagging or eg light data aggregation from other pages/subpages etc.
But: I'd love to run it locally/on device. And also would like the ability to early publish a part or single pages...

Quasi self-hosted but hidden.

Könnte also ein paar Probleme lösen.

Also alles Familie/Freunde? Einfach. TS/NB haben so viele Geräte pro User frei da bekommt man alle rein. Alles extra User? Schwieriger.

Can fully confirm both.
1) Stuff gets filtered but not so much as some would like which is a compromise for fingerprinting not to stand out too much
2) see attached, PWM are working with autofill. KP as autofill service configured and working.

more than 80% are still under investigation as they3y don't know it will even start with the emulation layer. And if it does if it runs at all or runs fine.
I won't say a big portion won't run but the proposed and shown stuff in trailers always suggested that you can just play your old games and you'd have more power for them But that won't fly now, as it's totally a hit or miss if your favorite game will run, profit from the new hardware or even habe problems with it. And that's sad :/

"When we first started Switch 2 development, the focus was on enhancing its performance as hardware, namely, expanding its capacity. So, compatibility was a lower priority. For example, Nintendo DS games were playable on Nintendo 3DS, and Wii games were playable on Wii U, but it was difficult to achieve the same level of compatibility with Switch 2, because the hardware design approach was different from those systems."

they checked their own 122 games. But...

They won't necessarily with better performance as it had to be partially emulated that's why in that direct nobody ever mentioned it being fully compatible to old games but only talked about S2 editions of old games. Even popular third party stuff like fortnite does NOT work with S2 but needa an extra S2 edition to work outright. It's a nice little thing they left off.

I'm not into "it's free with a sub" as you pay with your sub and if you stop it you loose access to the "upgrades". Pretty much everyone I knew wanted to see their BOTW inserted into S2 and profiting from newer hardware, resolution etc. but instead you need a completely new version or otherwise have to deal with "it works probably... or not". It's pretty sad actually. Compared with PS4 to 5 one could just download/insert the PS4 edition and be fine. Not with S2 it seems and that's sad. :/

Not sure about "backward compatibility". It was very well hidden, that switch 2 is not hardware compatible thus needing extensive reviews of all games as the switch 1 versions are half emulated when played on the 2. That was never really mentioned in the direct and only talked in a lone ask the developer blogs. It's also why they never showed comparison on eg. the Zeldas running on 1 vs 2. Also upgrade versions costing for every game and a hardware info game non free?? Huh.

So all those misogynists hog together, enrage in their bubble about stuff that is too "woke" in their mind and try to downvote stuff they didn't even play. So like Liam @npub1d62…rhjw said, it's an easy indicator of complete and utter bullshit. That poor contractor team of SBI wouldn't even be allowed to do all the stuff those lunatics fantasize them doing to games at all.

It's at a point where many of those "community" members and the curator itself even admit they haven't even played certain games but found them "woke" enough (without telling what exactly is woke for them) or constructed a relation to SweetBaby Inc. Quite a few games aren't related to SBI even though they say they are, others SBI just consulted on less then 1% of a specific character background. It's incredibly nuts

It's about the Steam "curator" "Sweet Baby Inc. detected" - https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44858017-Sweet-Baby-Inc-detected/
That drew a community of people, that try their hardest to find any woke-ness/queer friendlyness etc. in games and try to pin it to the support studio "Sweet Baby Inc." that they deem responsible for adding that "woke" stuff into games.

I know many use android to scroll through mastodon but is there any android client app that does good threading? I use(d) tusky and pachli but both display threads in a strange (for me) way that I'm constantly wondering if a post is a response to the comment above or another one further up and don't know to which one it really is. It's driving me mad that threaded comments are such a tedious thing with masto clients :/
