Milled these lifting lugs on a manual mill. It's always fun to get away from the cnc to do some old school manual work. I'll be welding these on in a future video. #machineshop #cnc #weld https://image.nostr.build/bb04970a3285a94b4895f076b577876934fcf82ca53ba3410cee9c2edeadf695.jpg

I've never tried the water ports like those in the image. I have had really good luck using the watering nipples. Chickens around 4-6 weeks can start using them and the nipple lasts about 1-2 years in a 5 gallon bucket before I exposure ruins the o ring seal. Nice set up. I love chickens

This was 4140. Typically most times we will use ductile to make pistons and heads for hydraulic cylinders. The shop im working at decided to save some money by repurposing a scrap drop from another job.

Say someone is solo mining to an umbrel node running an instance of public pool. If a block is mined, what would the block header say? Do we have control over such a thing? Is there a better, more self sovereign way to support the bitcoin network and do your duty of verifying blocks the way satoshi intended? #asknostr #bitcoin #umbrel publicpool.io

We need to keep driving this point home for those who are still stuck on the gold standard. Come on, folks, we're in the digital age now, and we're never going back. Gold served its purpose extremely well; it helped humanity for a long time and facilitated our evolution. I'm so thankful that humans were able to utilize such an amazing technology for so long. However, as with all technology that humans have ever discovered or created, sometimes we develop a better tool or technology that allows for greater human progress. We are innovators. If we had never developed the tools we had in the past, we would still be living in caves, cooking food over a campfire.
I'll use a positive analogy here. We used bows and arrows for a very long time. Those who adapted to use this technology survived and thrived, and were able to prosper better, having a better life than those who never adopted them. Sadly, those people who weren't open-minded enough or intelligent enough literally died off. The more adaptable people outcompeted those who were stubborn or weren't capable. How do you think people felt when their bows and spears were outcompeted by the new technology of gunpowder? It was a rude awakening for those who did not adapt. I'm not saying that bows and arrows were completely useless anymore, but you would have been wise to adopt the new technology, or you would have been at a significant disadvantage.
Gold has been the best solution for the transfer of value issue that humans have been facing for thousands of years. However, humans have created new technology that is far better than gold. Sorry to say, folks, but if you do not adapt, you would be foolish not to look back on history and see what happened to those who did not adapt and use the new technology. It's uncomfortable and can be scary, but fortunately for you, Bitcoin has had a history of outperforming every single store of value in the world for 16 years now. It's up to you to decide. Have some respect for those who came before you, who were intelligent and curious enough to develop or adopt technology that helped them survive and thrive. They fought hard for you to be here, living the luxurious and easy life you have now. Don't let them down. It would be a shame to let the human spirit and drive to survive down, just because you're scared. Folly. Do some research for the sake of those who came before you and those who are coming after you. Be wise and recognize that nothing is permanent in this world. Only the strong, wise, smart, and intelligent will survive and thrive.
One more thing: even if you are scared of the new technology, take this example. If I were a tribesman with bows and arrows versus someone with the first gunpowder weapons, I would be so much more hopeful for my survival and that of my family if I had at least one of those weapons in my arsenal, in addition to my traditional technology. But why stop at just one? Why not go the whole way and arm your self with an entire aresonal of the winning technology? You are responsible for your own survival. Be wise, stop pacifying yourself with lies, and do your research. This is literally about survival.

I love this sign placement. A gigantic middle finger to the system that abused good common people. Over 100 years have we existed under this system of oppression. Enough is enough. The evil people who brought about this system is the only reason why bitcoin exists. They deserve to sink on the titanic into a deep, dark, cold hell in the atlantic. Far away from all that is good so that they can never hurt us ever again. https://image.nostr.build/522356cfc32947008d564f41afb45093de554b4b7438d816f9527da895908fda.jpg

In my honest opinion, lightning is a failed attempt at fixing a problem. It's cool but it really only functions best with centralized nodes. It's ridiculous to expect someone to open a channel and have to risk precious bitcoin. the whole setup is a mess, not user intuitive and really it's sad.

Thanks bitcoin.rocks for sending me some signs. I spent my evening after work putting up 6 of the 10 in very strategic locations. Mostly around grocery stores where the common folk actually have the thought of inflation impacting their everyday lives. #bitcoin is hope. I'll be putting the last 4 up this evening. From my experience you can't. They have to experience pain to understand that there is a genuine need for a fix. Best you can do is constantly remind them and beg to send them a few sats so they can watch it grow. Most don't even want the free sats.
