My point of view is that I can act with agency and principle up until the point we are wrongfully detained, but then we are necessarily dependent on solidarity from other people. It’s not ideal, imo—would rather stay free and sailing—but that’s how this works apparently.

There are 21 U.S. citizens sailing on this mission.
The U.S. state department has already insinuated without evidence that we are “terrorists,” and the administration has little incentive to act on our behalf to get us out of Israeli jail.
Don’t let them keep us in prison.

Greenpeace left our fleet today, though Open Arms will continue on with GSF on the next leg to Turkey (I’ve been calling this stretch the “Turkey leg”).
Before they left heading west, Greenpeace sent a final “all fleet” message to us as we set out eastward. Here that is.
