Great summary from Robert Malone on why he is voting for Trump. His thought processes mirror my own - and indicate that Trump is the only sane decision you can have in this election.
I like how Malone points out that he has personally made mistakes...and he will make more. And the same can be said for Trump. But Trump also brought value in his first term...and I think he has even BETTER counselors/thought leaders around him this time...and will be willing to delegate responsibilities to those thought leaders.
Above all, I think he will respect our Constitution, bill of rights, and personal sovereignty. He's been best prepared to do this since they broke all the rules as they tried to put Trump in jail or at least prevent him from running a fair race with equal treatment from mainstream media and social platforms.
Malone tends to get long-winded, but is pretty concise in his arguments at the beginning and end of this post (with some historical context in the middle that you can likely skip because TLDR).

That's why I'm always pondering multiple jurisdictions...then the key is being able to safely travel there - which is why I at least want to eliminate requiring an airplane or boat.
When you read the stuff like what I shared about the depths they will go to steal this election...or simply sway the lemmings with MSM while hiding their preferred client in the basement or behind a teleprompter with prepared questions...you start looking for ways out.
I'm emotionally detached enough to do it. I love what I do, but I can do it anywhere. I have nice friends and clients, but I can make friends elsewhere...and invite my current friends to come visit...but my wife does love the depth of the relationships she's established over the last 24 years we've lived here.

Living this right now. One couple in our small group just had their RV stolen from an RV storage facility. They found it trashed and littered with both drugs and live rounds (no firearms there because they were probably actively using those to commit crimes elsewhere).
We love Colorado and Denver, but what the current administration is allowing is criminal...just like most every other Blue State governor and legislators. I'd like to purchase another home in a red state (like Texas, Tennessee, or South Carolina...too windy in Wyoming), but then I remember that all other assets are 💩 coins relative to #bitcoin

Those cliches definitely existed, right? I was high school football in Texas - couldn't even conceive of playing tennis until after college. If not playing football, you were lifting and running...to get ready to play football.
Now I go to a high school and see tennis, lacrosse, girls softball, soccer, etc...different world. And hey, isn't skateboarding now an Olympic sport?? Good to broaden those horizons!

Absolutely agree...and I no longer do software development or analytics, but I remember when I had no real resources to learn or bounce ideas off of back then. Heck, I go back to Oracle v5 and Oracle SQLForms...besides the fortran and assembly I wrote in college (as a mechanical engineer) in the late 80s. 🤣
And now the analytics are all open-source vs stuff like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
All of that to say - it fatigued me to think about re-inventing myself AGAIN, as a consultant, to be a productive contributor in the builder space...although I'd be happy to evangelize/teach regarding "Why Bitcoin". But I'm at a point where I would only want to do that a few hours/week...and in off-season...because my primary mission now is teaching tennis to juniors - teaching competency, confidence, and "not everybody gets a medal" to make the next generation a little more tough, self-assured and not afraid of failure.

Think that ship has sailed for THIS election cycle. At this point, I'm hoping for one more Trump term and then a decent succession plan that hopefully includes some common sense.
If they would be serious about a Bitcoin reserve...and somehow pegging the dollar to Bitcoin or "basket of hard assets" to start the groundwork for no more printing, that takes care of a lot of woes (forever wars, climate/DEI boondoggles, etc). Oh, and take care of that pesky immigration issue.

I've had a Swan IRA since early 2022. I'm debating moving over to Unchained...especially while Unchained running their special (through Aug 15th) and waiving significant fees.
You look at review sites and Swan outranks Unchained. So I would like some first-person experienced input.
If you are an Unchained client...
- Would you happily make the same choice?
- Do you have an Unchained IRA?
- What other Unchained products do you use?
I am considering making this move because...
- Swan still doesn't allow you to hold your own keys for a Bitcoin IRA due to lack of "regulatory clarity" if the IRS comes after you due to unfettered access to your Bitcoin (McNulty case). FYI, that isn't completely true...Swan will allow you to do a Checkbook IRA, but Unchained seems to provide a better "design" with the 2-of-3 multisig to allow them to audit transactions without them having control.
- When Swan went through their layoffs, they got rid of a lot of people providing the main reason for me staying so loyal to Swan (Dante, Callahan, Livera, etc). I valued Swan because of their significant contribution to Bitcoin education.
- Love him or not, Cory also made some great calls on rug-pulling companies. He has also been a great ambassador on MSM as he was making those calls. I haven't noticed whether there has been fallout since Swan itself "got out over their skis" and gambled on price to the point they need to now make headcount/budget cuts.
I do think there are still some great people at Swan - Lubka is always great and responsive and their support team is outstanding and highly competent. Their IRA and transaction fees are also very reasonable (and no fees to move to self-custody for non-IRA BTC). They also have ACH! I can't believe Unchained still doesn't have that capability?
Anyway, I'd love some thoughts on the Unchained IRA and Unchained in general. I like several of their folks, also...although was disappointed when Parker moved on (but like what he is doing at Zaprite...although I can't afford it for the transaction level of my own business).
This is the first time I've tagged people to encourage their input in the conversation, but I know there are some strong opinions from the likes of @npub1guh…6hjy and @npub1qny…95gx.

Excellent podcast that talks about Zone 2 training, VO2 Max training, strength training…and a lot of statistics on physical decline (and falls and how they impact mortality).
I’m 56 yrs old, so the struggle is real…luckily, I’ve been working out as an active kid as well as strength training since 12 yrs old.

Rather than eat a low sodium diet because you may be eating highly processed foods with a lot of sodium, eat a whole food diet and INCREASE your sodium.
Use an app like Cronometer to also dial in your magnesium and potassium...and get your Vitamin D from the sun, if possible.
This is a nice read - FYI, I do use LMNT to replenish my electrolytes since I can be in the sun for 6-8 hours/day while coaching/playing tennis. I also supplement with magnesium (which plays well with Vitamin D).

I am heavy on the red meat (buy 1/2 cow at a time for just 2 adults). I do put a heavy workload in each week with teaching tennis 20-25 hours/week outdoors in the sun plus still trying to lift/row for strength.
Virtually no grains...and mostly no vegetables. Just meat (mostly beef, but also well-raised pork, lamb, fish), eggs (usually about 5/day and add cheese and leftover meat), dairy, some nuts, fruit, and honey. And bourbon and chocolate, for the win.
Still tend to hang out around 165 lbs for the last 6 years. Rest of my adult life was in the 180s to 190s because of standard american diet. I'm 56.

Good point - only would be of value if inflation-adjusted. Can't imagine it would not be inflation-adjusted?!? I mean minimum wage was around $3.35 or less when I entered the workforce...and what is it now, $17-20/hr?

Give me a *much lower* flat tax - ironically, the closest to paying fair share because paying same percentage but the pie size changes - and I'm good. And under a responsible government (whoops - there went this dream), that would be sufficient.
I'm having a hard time seeing how we escape or minimize this tax burden. And like my other notes, I'm not willing to take my money and run to be an ex-pat...and can't touch American soil again without getting arrested for tax evasion. My eyes have been opened - especially - about Clinton/Bush/Obama/Biden. I did vote for Trump twice: once to press the reset button on the system and 2nd time because I actually liked some of the things he accomplished.
He would bring plenty of flaws and baggage this time around, but I’d like to see him go a little more scorched earth on some of the Deep State/captured agency stuff. He has nothing to lose.
The true reset will only be remotely possible in 2028…at least regarding candidates…but I do not know how you beat the 2-party=uniparty system without a full financial collapse.
Then you will just have sheep willing to vote for anyone who promises to make the pain go away.

How long before Elizabeth Warren's 1% wealth tax for Bitcoin holdings over $500k moves closer to 44%.
And if they are arresting people working on mixing solutions...is anyone truly coming up with a "how to" for out-of-country residency and how to minimize these types of punitive taxes? Preferably while playing within a legal framework that doesn't have us getting arrested for tax evasion when we come back to the US to visit family?
Because Bitcoiners are getting ready to have a heck of a lot of wealth - and much/all of it was purchased KYC (even if now in cold storage).
