I'm curious - has there been momentum for people moving away from Substack to something else (Ghost? etc) for newsletters?
I've got a fallow ol' Wordpress.com site and Substack site and I'm rethinking how I want to do public learning. Maybe #POSSE style.

LOVE the Japanese Gardens, and the tea ceremony there.
The Chinese Gardens is not nearly as well known but is gorgeous as well. Location is in the midst of the International District but creates a sense of calm and peace.

I recently messaged a small business owner who restarted a longboard surfing competition in Westport Washington. My wife and I watched it last weekend and had a blast.
I messaged them to thank them for creating such a great event and community. It clearly made an impact and cost me only a minute or two my time.
Go make somebody’s day a little brighter.

Hey @npub1ny7…uv57 and #Tea folks - I'm looking for The Nonfiction Best Book about Tea, and I'm interested in learning more about history, sociology, culture, economy etc. I'm currently reading For All the Tea in China: Espionage, Empire and the Secret Formula for the World's Favourite Drink by Sarah Rose, and it's interesting.. but not quite hitting what I'm looking for.
Recommendations?

In Portland OR for the weekend which gives me the opportunity to visit the great Powell’s City of Books. Although I’m buying mostly e-books these days to be mindful of shelf space, a trip like this gives me the opportunity to look for harder to find books - like the eight I found today to help me on my challenge from @npub1w27…42km to read at least one book set in each county in #Ireland. @npub1ny7…uv57
