You have to tweak your settings... I haven't seen ads on Android Brave ever. The tab box thing is standard on all Chrome variants.
There's a nice privacy related foss chrome browser called Cromite that also is pretty good but Brave is the king of adblocking browsers on Android.

I wonder if @nprofile…jsen or another big player is able to leverage newer AI technology to boost discovery on Nostr. Literally it is the ONLY thing that all Nostr clients are really lacking.
Already the learning curve to get onto Nostr is going to be a slight barrier for most "normies". Scaling can come after mass effect but discovery and "good" algorithms are a must imho.

My musical tastes are eclectic but there are a few artists that really stand out to me who are talented and make incredible art over decades of their careers. The band IamX who really is just artist Chris Corner(originally from Sneaker Pimps) and his backing band has put out scream decades of excellent music. The genre is not important because Chris has a wide array of styles and I cannot think of a single song in his vast catalog that isn't excellent.

This is exactly what its intended purpose has always been. I think people miss the point about older technologies and methods, Torrents can be seeded and hosted indefinitely across the entire internet with ease (legal and "illegal") and Onion routing(albiet somewhat slow) is reliable and secure. The interface, discovery and community are the only things that would ever need refinement with these processes imho.

There used to be a very good BBS ANSI art(like the banner in my Nostr profile) website called AnsiGarden.com but the site is dead now, thankfully it looks like someone put some of their work back online. Of course there is the web archive as well but very nice of someone to host the images at blogspot in decent quality.
