Just look at any other country, Argentina for example... I agree, price controls, in fact, any controls are typically artificial (which do not flow with natural progress) which creates a damn, and we all know what happens when a damn gets a crack. Not great for those living underneath it.

Looking to set up a non-profit organization with Nostr as new way to reach out. Finding it interesting how to resolve the issue of securing the private key, while still providing post permissions without leaving with the key if the person changes roles. Up to now, doesn't seem possible without a hardware signing device which they could still remain with it after leaving their role. Even if it's not easy to implement, anyone with a simple solution to maintain, is appreciated.
But @npub1get…0nfm could be the solution to separating at least the access to the lightning funds from the Nostr account. How about it, Alby? Just need that invite to test it out 😉

Agreed, except it's not easy to remain in countries that you are not a citizen or have permanent residency. You are always on the move. It can be somewhat costly and indeed, this is why bitcoin is your saving grace here for such a scenario... global and untouchable by the govs.

Do you mean earning income? Because receiving money, you can just use something like Strike by lightning or Wise by foreign fiat. Shouldn't be charged taxes on receiving money. Just earning it above any personal tax credits you may have in that country.

My information needs confirmation, but this is somewhat a deceptive advertisement since it's not actually Bitcoin, but rather Bitcoin Cash (BCH). You can actually see the "Cashxxx" format in the address in the video. So it seems Ecash (or spelled eCash, as per their website: https://e.cash/) is a XEC, a fork from BCH.
