I also sold my Nikon FA yesterday, to the guy who I bought it off back in 2023. He was elated to have it back in his hands. I’m happy to see that it’s going to still be well loved, but also maybe this time getting more use than when it was in my possession (I only put 1 roll of film through it).
A few weeks ago I had purchased a Nikon FE2, so it’s not like there’s a Nikon-film-camera-shaped hole in my life or anything ;)

Came across this ad for a dumb iOS game, and I was surprised that it was rated R 18+ according to Australian age classification rules. What warrants such a high rating for this kind of game? I took a look at the Age Classification section but it’s stating 12+ there. Even if that’s a US rating, the listed reasons don’t sound too risqué for me, other than the simulated gambling. But it’s a dumb puzzle game!

@nprofile…5f2h I had no idea that ’ is a newer added entity! TIL!
Also another reason to avoid CSS for retro browsers was, that at least for Netscape 2 (I think? Not sure if 3 had the same issue), CSS was applied *via Javascript*. Meaning if your CSS was a bit gnarly, you could confuse the JS engine the browser used to apply the styles, and boom your browser crashes.
