This is the challenge with Nostr. Am 200% into the technological mastery. However, do a search for Litecoin and we see a handful of posts in the last six months. Maybe it is relay based. Do a search for Bitcoin and it is full of posts.
Maximalists will say, that's simply a function of the hashrate or attention.
The significance is that if platforms are too polarised, newcomers won't join them.
Hoping it can change as the lack of ID and integration into the Bitcoin protocol is fantastic.

Very exciting news. The last two weeks have been spent adding bulk portfolio trade management to our existing automated cryptocurrency trading software. It is a dedicated product.
We have just completed a very comprehensive set of tests to verify that data is looking good and mock trades are being created.
The key benefit is that portfolios can be managed easier by a subset of assets or the entire portfolio.
The one big gap in our trading software was when the price moved past limit order prices leaving trades to get stuck. Whilst we have ways to achieve this in our software, it was slow to set up.
This model is far simpler. We can simply decide to bulk cancel, sell and buy trades, and then move assets to other portfolios.
This fits in perfectly with the swing trading approach.
Our next plans are to focus on a test cloud release, add some small, performance enhancements, and optimise trade rules creation.

We have been flat out on adding Bulk Portfolio Management to our automated cryptocurrency trading software.
The one big feature lack is the ability to manage trades within a portfolio. Our experience has shown that sometimes, non automated portfolios and automated trading portfolios could do with trade cancellation, rebooking of trades and moving of capital to other portfolios.
It is a lot of work but think this will really give our users a much richer set of features not available easily in other platforms.

Nostr is a vital space despite its many shortcomings. Keep using it!
At crypto statto, the goal is to be transparent, challenge but respect idiosyncrasies.
Have long since given up on Mastadon. Totally bizarre platform, yet - our social media posting software has capability for Mastadon posting.
Our initial account got banned from their mastadon.social if we recall, whilst simply testing the software. We got banned from X for simply sharing a post on how to post on Nostr. X's AI continues to automatically reject appeals. No humans involved.
The Chatgpt recommendation was to use Mastadon.bot. Why? It is friendlier to bots. It has been three weeks now and still no approval. Is it because we are a crypto-friendly company? Perhaps they don't like crypto? How hard can it be to visit a website and read more about it?
Perhaps the moderators are on a long holiday? Can't be arsed? Who knows? Mastadon feels like Wikipedia on steroids.
Hands down, barring X, Mastadon is the biggest waste of space of a social media platform going? We didn't consider Facebook or Instagram given it is attached to a human account. Ie, you dox yourself just to market a company. How does that work legally?
Well, then we have BlueSky. Which requires a third party to store your digital ID, a passport etc to allow you to post through automation.
There are legitimate reasons why one doesn't want to attach personal data to just post information through an automated account. Equally, moderator based platforms and communities always suffer similar craziness.

Having played around immensely with LLM, to help with certain development and testing efforts, it seems highly likely LLM will advance enough to build trade rules based upon prompts.
We built a rules manager but never felt comfortable with taking it to market.

Right now, coins are moving all over the place. In our opinion (not advice) there is zero need to dca into coins if you already have them.
Just swing trade with limit orders to sell high into a coin and once settled, buy that coin back with a lower limit order.
It may look bleak, if not desperate, but even a few sizeable swing trades will increase your stack.
We are releasing swing trading software to help automate this.
If you are a long term holder of bitcoin but have altcoins, start with the alts, move into BTC and back again a few times.
Some very big influencers still do complicated maths to explain how coins like XRP and Cardano could 100x. Maybe they are right but why use cash to do it when one can swing trade? It isn't sexy, but it works for us!

Anyone that claims setting up bots for social media marketing campaigns have probably never attempted it 😎
Each social media platform has all manner of restrictions around;
- security OAuth and nsec for example
- message format
- media management
- rules on frequency
- paid plans
- out of date documentation
- deplatforming risk
- changing apis and versions
This is before setting up the content itself. To do this, have run LLM against existing content to create the content.
More of an experiment than anything.
Had thought about offering this as a piece of software but making it stable enough, even with agents is a big ask.

Have been watching A LOT of content on "AI" and LLM. Developer content, Computer Science PhDs, AI enthusiasts, CEOs, those that think their life is over because "AI" will take over their jobs.
We use LLM all the time but we make sure we are in control of the final product quality.
The first thing anyone should do is to understand how these models work. Once we do, we realise that they can never be right all the time, there is no true knowledge, and they are constrained by the number of parameters that can be added before they no longer work. Indeed, there is a theory whereby the information needed to solve a problem will exceed the information needed to solve the original problem.
There are countless studies that test models, give problems to them. Please read some.
Now, LLM is transformative, but please understand it is a tool that will get things wrong and you need to be able to recognise these mistakes and correct them.
Am totally for non-experts using tools to create great products but do not get carried away with the hype.

Honestly. The biggest one is you do not need to put lots of cash into bitcoin. Limit order buy lower, limit order sells higher, and repeat. It takes time. You can change the levels, swing trade between coins.
This doesn't mean many should not dca, not advice but too many buy at the top and sell when it drops.
There will no doubt be all these crypto fanboys claiming never sell, buy the dip, but it will lose people a lot of money.

The penny dropping moment is the limitations of their ethos, only those with humility last.
Used to have a channel elsewhere and stopped once that particular subject had been covered and resolved.
A good example is the crypto YouTuber. They end up just following the price, repurposing other content until it becomes about the FED, Michael Saylor, BlackRock. Content becomes homogenised and therefore - sensationalist thumbnails creep in.
It is a cycle.

We have been busy working on our social media marketing software. Definitely a Segway away from the main automated trading software work, but very necessary to help get awareness of the upcoming release of our cloud based dedicated trading solution.
The software takes our existing structured web content, shortens links with an external link shortening API, classifies (filters the content) using hugging face ML/AI, delivering structured messages for a variety of social media platforms.
We will be able to turn content already created into automated posts on LinkedIn, Telegram, Nostr, Twitter/X, Mastadon, Gab etc.

Yes. The concepts made sense. Strongly suspect it was doomed once they chose Ethereum to create the project.
Doing some research, the longer the stake, the higher the gas fees are on the original Ethereum Blockchain.
They built an entirely new Blockchain, that has never seen the prices recover. Apparently, a new project is happening.

Yeah. I have around 20+ plus followers after a year. Ok the surface people will think am here just to promote my software, but that isn't true. Don't just talk about crypto, interact. Some posts take a while to produce and I get nothing. Even someone saying - I hate this would be something. Some say it is all about the relays.
The main subject matters seems to be - bitcoin, advanced esoteric technology, hating all other Blockchains and of course - gold and fiat, vibe coding..
Variations include, never selling your bitcoin and buying the dip.
Am not giving up on nostr, but for fuck's sake. It is like a parallel version of X for shadowbanning without nostr needing to shadowban people.

Everyone is talking about how AI is transforming everything. Firstly, it is not AI, it is LLM.
Yet there are two important metrics in software;
- Code surface area
- Confidence (i.e. tests)
I haven't used correct terminologies, but think of it like this. Decentralisation. Decentralisation is great, it empowers. Yet if one is trying to build a platform or entire system, hell - reporoduce it elsewhere, the more AI is used, the more amnesia occurs. The less centralised the codebase becomes.
The result is a mess. Almost impossible to control. Building small apps or utilities is the way development should be done but if you are a serious player, much of the current AI offering won't work. Building platforms is another thing altogether.
We use LLM all the time as experienced developers, but at the right time.

Don't want to say too much, but... Recently sold a small amount of a certain precious metal. Just to test the process. Man, it is risk upon risk...
- Custody risk
- Delivery risk
- Insurance risk
- Inspection risk
- Fraud risk
- Counterparty risk
- Settlement risk
Only once you try and work with metals do you become accutely aware just how many risks there are.
Then imagine we are supposed to believe governments are buying gold, auditing it. To me, metals have lost the room.
Having said that. Metal looks beautiful and you can hold it in your hand. It is God's money and pure.
Going through this process frees your mind.
For me, bitcoin and other coins are WAY undervalued. You must do this for yourself, much as you should pay for something in a cryptocurrency to experience the process. Just set up two wallets to test sending coins.
Too many cannot appreciate the beauty of cryptocurrency until they try it.

Crypto Statto Status update - Automated Trading software and cryptocurrency analytics
Have spent the last couple of weeks doing the following;
- Radically overhauling our social media posting software.
- Adding content generators to take our structured web content to create post content
- Adding markdown parsers to take our markdown and create post content
- Adding a discovery mode for certain posters to permit dropping of new content and content removal without restart
- Added a LinkedIn Poster (boo hiss)
We already had bubble charts as an option, but we are incorporating database data to produce more customised charts in a dynamic manner. This will probably finish this piece in a month's time.
It is highly likely we will set up a separate marketing Nostr account to keep this current one more human.
If that is not enough. We will also be setting up a live pilot in the cloud of our automated cryptocurrency trading software in the coming weeks.

Building complete systems is more like architecture, reusability, remodelling. I use LLM all the time to speed up development, often building entire components but it cannot replace good architectural design.
Am all for people vibe coding but without proper engineering background it is like walking a tight rope.

Few realise that most coins/assets are made during bear markets. A lot more volatility occurs.
A simple method - never advice.
With each asset you hold and any existing limit orders.
For non bitcon assets. Edit your existing limit order to be at a higher price but amend the quantity to leave some free. You don't care as these orders haven't completed for a good while.
Take that free amount, create a sell limit order at 10% or whatever against bitcoin.
Once the order has filled, create a buy order that is say 10% below the sell price.
Chances are you will get a 20% swing minus fees. The worst that can happen is you sold some of your coins for bitcoin.

This dire altcoin permabear and bitcoin secular bear move reiterates more than ever that dollar cost averaging is one of the worst things most retail investors can do in our opinion. Not financial advice.
The number of morons, bots perhaps, screaming that bitcoin was cheap at $90k, and they were buying the dip, are the same morons that bought it at $120k. No different to the silver stackers still buying at $115.
Some very big influencers, for example, have been extolling the virtues of Ripple, claiming the price will have to go to $10,000 just to cover replacing fiat payment rails. If you had bought XRP at the July 2025 high, the price has dropped to almost a third, $1.33. Personally, I can see it hitting $0.85.
Once you have put whatever money you put into cryptocurrency, the first thing to do is to get that money out by swing trading and gain coins.
Continue to swing trade and over time, you will end up with more coins. It is not sexy and it takes time.
We have built automated trading software to do this, soon to be released but you can do this manually.

Did some looking into it. Not advice, but the only way to do it would be to use a very low loan to value. Say, if you have one BTC and it was ( I wish) $100k, then do a 10% Ltv. It would have to drop to $10k. Interest at say 6% APR. Meaning total repayment $10600.
This is how I understand it. Now, in theory. It you had a second bitcoin. Do the same before the end of the original loan term. Repay the original balance, get back your bitcoin, repeat?
This depends upon price stability. Of course. If BTC is going up, more can be drawn each year. During each loan term, you are likely to be able to buy BTC way below the current price due to volatility.

The first trick is to get all your original amount invested into most assets out. But keep the target asset. The next is not to have everything in bitcoin. Am not here to boast or talk about different assets, am a minow compared to most. My goal is to open people's eyes to sound money and to hopefully grow it without putting more cash in. Am not against BTC maxis at all, but I don't care about bitcoin maxis' egos, I believe in the protocol, the network. Look at what bitcoin created - nostr for example. Real value from a protocol. Lightning network - amazing!
Many newbies get sucked in and buy at the highs, this is their income after tax. They have to sell at a loss to survive. It isn't fair to keep laughing at people that cannot understand just how brutal investing can be. At the same time. I hear you - the obsession over bitcoin is too much.
I feel way worse for those that bought into many of the top 20 coins. Just as I feel sorry for those buying silver thinking it will make them rich. Imagine all the Cardano and Ripple zealots. Tribalism in crypto is insane.
Many claim just 0.1 BTC will be enough to retire on, now there are YouTube channels claiming 10oz if silver will be enough to retire on. Probably this will be true but putting real cash into an asset that is collapsing looks as smart as Saylor.
The average person has zero chance in this game without a lot of knowledge and tools. They will not be able to hold on long enough to reap the benefits.
The last point to make. If Bitcoin did what we expect, could we do experience a Midas touch? Or is bitcoin replacing the corruption and the economy would rebalance?

If we look at the silver chart. On a daily basis, if you had paper and were properly trading paper silver.
We can see that
• Mon 26, saw a rise, high volume
• Tue 27 saw closing higher, slightly lower volume
• Wed 28 saw closing higher, slightly lower volume.
Any sane trader would have sold on the 29th, we saw a lot of volume , anyone still in the game would have sold like crazy on Friday 30th.
Now whether there was fake volume, manipulation involved is to be debated by others? However, for all the excitement about conspiracies by the silver bugs and YouTubers, just looking at a chart tells you all we needed to know. The price was going higher as volume was dropping. Three consecutive days of higher closing, with three consecutive days of lowering volume.

Precisely. The worst thing one can do is just watching coins fall and fall in value. The only option people have is to pray the coins surpass their all time highs. Right now, common sense puts most alts at almost zero chance of beating their all time highs.

One of the biggest mistakes crypto traders make, is to not take action when many of their coins have fallen off a cliff in terms of price action.
That is exactly the time to swing trade. Why? Say you have a coin which is 95% off its all time. In fiat terms it is worthless, yet you believe in the product. So, sell a large portion for bitcoin at a percentage above the current price. Then, buy back at a level below. Repeat a few times.
The worst that can happen? You are out of the original coin that has probably dropped to $100 and it does 100x. Yet, you will have bitcoin.

The US Treasury is giving him them the ability to acquire Bitcoin, risk free. Whether it is cheap is another question. They bought it in the 90s, they will buy in the 70s, and if the government permits it will do it in the 50s. Nobody should be happy that a government can print money & use it for proxy DATs to fall and ultimately hand Bitcoin over to large financial institutions.

To be honest. Silver was always going to drop a lot. Why? Silver had multiple overnight gaps to fill. The key thing is to not sell when it breaks its all time high as I think it will go way higher. Same with gold. However, am not buying more.
This is the lesson. Swing trade to accumulate more. Avoid repeatedly throwing cash in and get over exposed is my approach.
In terms of cryptocurrency and crypto statto. Still testing and preparing for a test release. Have a couple of new strategies to test. Each phase of a market cycle is an opportunity to experiment with swing trading and exit strategies

Precisely. A fool and their money are easily parted. Currently, Peter Schiff is telling everyone to "buy the dip", exactly the same mentality as those in crypto.
Comments feed littered with "I'm never selling", "I'm buying the dip" "Looking cheap now" despite silver only recently having broken all time highs.
