This is one that worries me. I picked 50 ticks or more off my dogs this week after hunting. Both tested positive for Lyme’s this off season after hunting there last year. Biological weapons are worrisome.

A butterfly bush stays busy at this time of year. I took all of these about 30 seconds apart. A lot of traffic! I see hummingbirds regularly as well. A great addition to any garden if you want to add pollinators.

I haven’t heard of anyone else who was a floppy disc salesman. My parents couldn’t figure out where all their discs were going. I labeled them “math homework” “history notes” etc. Later in life I worked with a lot of my former clients’ parents and the thought that their kids lunch money funded their habits always brought a good chuckle. I was able to save enough for a cd burner!

Seems pretty clear to me in 1 Samuel that our “leaders” are the problem and God didn’t want us to have them anyways.
“Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. I think it is as far as the no rulers piece. I don’t think any human can change the course it is on.
I have struggled with the word anarchy as a Christian, in general. I believe with a deep faith that there is a Leader of the Universe. I find over and over in scripture where we are warned not to put human leaders in charge. We continue to do that and continue to fail. To BTC (be the change) we should stick to biblical teachings at our foundations, with Jesus seeking moral principles.
The church I attend has a slogan that really fits well with Bitcoin.
-Know God
-Find Freedom
-Discover Purpose
-Make a Difference
Bitcoin doesn’t impede any of that and empowers a ton of it, clear down to allowing me more time for prayer and scripture studies.

This hit me this week after my daughter was telling me about the Armor of God. It stuck hard with the idea of Bitcoin going against rulers, but not rules. I like the next parts even more:

A true artist! He is a man who grew up completely differently than I did, but can tell a story that I can understand and agree with. I took my kids to our local one to sled down a hill to the tennis courts (pro tip: use the stairs for an easy return to the top of the hill. We were literally the only folks there. It was like having a private sledding slope!

I don’t post much. I usually don’t have much to say. But tonight is different. I have to say how cool and empowering #bitcoin, #nostr, and these tools of the future are.
Today I purchased #coffee from @npub1vpx…jspj using @npub1get…0nfm's tools self hosted through @npub126n…e9ll.
Thanks to @npub1jcy…2890 and hopefully some cool swag for a gift, my wife had to have bitcoin to make her purchase. She ran into some trouble unfortunately with her typical way to get some bitcoin. This caused her to try 2-3 different things. She learned so much and asked so many questions. So forcing someone to purchase using bitcoin furthered her down her journey, neat way of doing it.
Lastly, listening to a podcast on @npub1v5u…n0v5 earlier I thought I should comment on how slick the UX was. When getting my wife set up with an Alby Go connection to our node, she sees a zap come through on my wallet (from @npub1unm…d0j2 no less). I comment about how wild the world is that a guy not real tech-y is getting sats for his feedback straight from the developer.
And here I am trying to put into words my excitement about the future on a platform like @npub18m7…q955 . I am sure the people who do the work on these tools don’t get to hear thank you enough, but thank you! What a powerful day in my journey!
