The answer to "how do I stop all incoming video", btw, is (at least on macos)
Settings, Meetings and webinars, scroll to the bottom and hit advanced, then turn on "Enable stop incoming video feature".
This just lets you see the menu option. To actually use that menu option, you need to be in a meeting, go to the "Speaker" menu in the top right, and click "Stop incoming video"

all, apparently, because Zoom can't stop changing their mind on where to put the incoming audio options. Is it on the microphone hamburger menu? the meeting's menu icon? the meetings tab in the settings? do you use the view menu? or settings, and then it's under Meetings & webinars?
Do you need to go to the separate webpage that has even more extended options?

Oh sweet banana-flavored Jesus.
They fucked up one of my other meds today.
Last month they were running low on Adderall, so they did a partial refill: 29 instead of 30 pills. Whatever, I just skipped taking my ADHD meds one weekend day.
Today, for this month, they don't have a shortage. Yay! So they fill it, no notes, no warnings, and I get home to one (1) pill

okay so my insurance told me a completely different story: that they HAVE got prior auth, but they're still processing it. it takes up to 72 hours, and it's only been 48.
so within 24 hours they should approve or deny my prior authorization. when that happens... I won't know. so I just need to call them back tomorrow and start this whole process again

happened again.
same tab. it seems if I have a tab open for more than a day, and firefox has to restart, some kind of cookie or local storage is reset and thus the tab fails to work, since I can't do the Secret Handshake or whatever.

this was to connect to my our washing machine, which came with a card advising us to connect to the wifi features, and the manual told us to connect to the wifi features. I told the app which model we had, it told me which button to press to connect to the wifi, and after trying that for 5 minutes I go and check the store page...
this model doesn't have wifi

then in the late 70s, you could finally program them! for free! you just had to own a microcomputer! yay
but then in the 80s and 90s you had to buy compilers, which were expensive
by with the 2000s, rapidly compilers and interpreters became free again. anyone could program, for free!
and then in the 2020s someone invented "programming but you have to pay", again.

anyway I never explained what this modified dictionary does: it lowercases the whole thing.
this way "alaska" or "california" won't flag is misspelled, which I prefer because THEY'RE NOT. They're mis-capitalized, which is a grammar problem I'd argue about, not a spelling problem.

fun fact: in one of my story serieses (The Dimensional Nexus), this has evolved into the dominant form of english, and it's gone a little farther: they've stopped using apostrophes entirely, and dropped the distinction between cardinals and ordinals.
so they'd say "in the 20 century the beatles released a song called dont ever change"

I think part of the problem is that it's replacing en-US instead of supplementing it, which I wasn't sure was possible without confusing all my websites into thinking I'm speaking something besides english.
which I am, I'm just speaking Late IRC English, which doesn't have the same capitalization rules as proper english

PRESCRIPTIONS: a game for four people
Player 1 is the patient, who is having constant migraines.
Once per turn, they pick one of players 2-4, who represent the doctor's office, pharmacy, and insurance.
When players 2-4 are called, they flip a coin and blame the other players. if they successfully blame a player which isn't the last one the patient talked to, they get a point.
the game ends when the patient gives up or dies. whoever has the most points, wins! player 1 cannot win

I'm in CA and I'm looking into a name change and gender marker change. I can change my gender marker on my CA docs without additional trouble, but if I want to fix my NC birth certificate I need a court order AND a letter from the surgeon who performed my vaginoplasty.
the CA surgeons I've talked to about getting a vaginoplasty want me to lose weight first, so until I lose weight and get that surgery, my documents will be incorrect

my understanding is that they are not using any standard video protocol, they have a custom agent running on the PC/mac, which sends some kind of partial updates to the epaper display.

you can supposedly VISA mount the 13" model too... except the VISA mount is a magnet. It doesn't actually secure the QUITE EXPENSIVE display, which is scary, considering this thing requires at least 2 cables (power + HDMI/USB-C)
maybe if those were magnetic too and they made sure the magnets were weaker than the VISA mount
