Why am I not planning to attend any #WorldCup games, despite being a big soccer fan?
Partly #FIFA's sycophancy to our baby tyrant.
Partly #ICE's racist threats, which I worry will play out live in front of me if I go.
Partly it's the prices.
Partly all-too-typical pigs-at-trough behavior, starting locally with Kraft family externalizing costs on local towns.

As clear by now, the policy is not to address undocumented immigrants, or criminal immigrants, or businesses that employ undocumented immigrants. Instead, the policy is to mistreat and deport *all* immigrants (save Melania), as well as *all* refugees and asylum seekers, and their children (save Barron). Targets include those here legally (particularly but not exclusively if they are not white) and those provably here to escape persecution or human rights violations, and their children. 1/2

About 7 million Americans have Alzheimer's, and each of them has an average of 3 close family members who are affected by it. So 20 million people, about one in eight voters, should care.
Yet Trump cut off funding for research on a promising new treatment of the disease, just as it was leading to therapeutic trials. This should be part of the national conversation.

It's hard to track, unless you do it full time. But in case you were wondering, Trump has yet to reach ANY final trade deals.
The closest is with the UK, where a preliminary agreement has been published. But that's it.
All other headlines about "deals" are misleading, including the most recent one on Vietnam, where not even a preliminary deal has been published.
