We’re way overdue to stop building with wood. It’s barely cheaper than Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) nowadays, takes longer than ICF to build with, and sucks ass at handling things like hurricanes. Wood is garbage, steel reinforced ICF is the future.

the fact that with @bsky.app / @atproto.com you don’t need to rely on your current PDS’ cooperating or continuing to exist in order to move to another PDS is a HUGE advantage over Mastodon. If anything, that makes Bluesky more decentralized, Mastodon instances have full control over your data.
