In other news, my bite has improved significantly! The doctor had to scrape the skin a little bit and it wasn’t pleasant at all 😭 so now I have a wound on my neck, but it’s healing and getting there. I’m trying not to let this steal my peace and enjoyment from being home 🏡

The Kpop Advent Calendar was my very first challenge where I came up with my own prompts, so I feel a little bit sad and disappointed that people are not engaging with it much. Were the prompts too basic or boring? I’d like to know what could improve if I decide to do it next time, any feedback is appreciated! And I also know that these type of challenges are not for everyone, so I’d also understand if this is not the right thing to do to get people’s engagement.

Well, I wasn’t expecting to come to my home country and be bitten by this type of wasp 🫠 the reaction is not fun at all and it got infected in less than 24 hours. I’m okay though, no fever, just the pain and inflammation, and the infection was pretty superficial. I went to the doctor so I’m getting treatment. Welcome to the tropical paradise, I guess! 😅

Honestly, as a MOA, this is the best Christmas present I could ever receive! 💜 to me, their mental and physical health are most important and I’m so excited to see them share pictures of their vacations and restful moments (if they wish to). I wasn’t feeling excited or happy about them starting another tour or another comeback, so to me, this is a very relieving thing hear.

The thought of Tae being really sad right now just hit me. He must be so heartbroken and there’s not a single thing I can do… that shatters my heart into a million pieces 💔 because how fair is it that he has been there for me at my worst times but I can’t be there for him at his?There are a few pet losses I’ve experienced while being away, and it’s just one of the most devastating things I’ve ever experienced, so to think he’s going through that rn…I can’t.

Last event I gifted a girl my duplicate of the TXT ‘Tomorrow’ album for free (I really only wanted the photo cards) and today I thought “maybe I’ll get some good karma for that” AND GUESS WHAT?! I freaking did! This sweet girl said she wanted to downsize her album collection and gave me her copies of ‘Skool Luv Affair’ and ‘Be’ for free 😭🥹if this is not good karma then idk what it is. Oh and she also gifted me a bunch of BTS photo cards, a bunch of them were Hobi of whom I didn’t have many!

I also was thinking, “god I hope I get some good SVT photo cards because I have zero Wonwoo and Vernon” and GUESS WHAT? This girl was selling them for $1.50 so I got 1 per each member 😭🥹 so I literally got there with 4 SVT photo cards and came home with like 20! Today I was debating wether or not to go to a Seventeen comeback event. Idk if you remember the TXT one I went to that made me feel so sad and depressed afterwards. So, normally I was thinking “it’s gonna be the same thing” and only decided to go at the last minute.
I’m so lucky to say it was SO different! I’m not sure if CARATS have a different energy but everyone was so welcoming and sweet, I finally exchanged my socials with some of them! Fans over here actually wanted to speak and share.

I have never been to a Kpop concert but I would love to go to one! There are many reasons why I haven’t (adulting, work, not having enough money, etc.) next year I’m focusing on getting to go to at least one or two. I’m not sure who will be my first group, I’m super curious to find this out! If I go to one it would be one of my ULT groups, BTS, TXT, or SVT. ENHYPEN it’s a possibility too.

thanks 💜 now I feel zero excitement about my birthday to be honest 🫤 but let’s see what happens!
I don’t feel comfortable asking for help around here because I don’t really know anybody. The only person that would help me is out of town right now 😢 I was offered help from some of my coworkers, so I might go to one of their houses tomorrow, but they all live near my workplace. Which is 40 minutes from here.

I also understand how dependent of the WiFi I really am. I can’t get any work done without it and I’m not a fan of going to coffee shops to work. It’s been 26 hours since the power outage. They say they hope to fix this by OCTOBER 1, BY 11 PM, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is almost peak comedy because of how absurd it is. Needless to say, that day is also my birthday… sigh.
We’ve been surviving thanks to power banks and lamps that hubby is able to charge at his workplace. But if there’s something I HATE is not being able to cook here and eating food outside. Also, all of our food in the fridge got ruined 😭

Hurricane Helene wade its way to Kentucky. Winds are blowing and it’s raining a lot. We’re currently experiencing a power outage in a big chunk of the city. I’m closely monitoring any flooding inside my house and so far so good. There’s a whole ass mattress outside my driveway? I’m not sure how that got there, I’m thinking my neighbor had a flooding in his place and mattress was damaged🫤
Thankfully I worked from home today, I really appreciate past me for taking all the precautions!

Crime scenes from yesterday, this was the first flood, the second was much worse but didn’t get photos because it was dark.
If anything, I’m glad I have floor and not carpet! Also, cleaning crew sprayed something for mold, so that’s good. So far the only thing that was ruined was my living room rug so we decided to throw it away. The couch and the cat tree seem to be okay thanks to the fans 👍🏼
