Don't bother yourself. He might sometimes have a good moment, but usually he is an a***hole. in Lebanon you cannot even count any more how many times they have broken the ceasefire since last year. Ok, 60 days in order to get the maximum of water, food, medicine etc. in as possible sounds tempting ... but then? As someone for Gaza put it: let aid in so we can die with a full belly?

Trump's noise on a new "ceasefire" that Israel allegedly agreed to - can anyone tell me why Hamas should agree? Yes, people in Gaza want the attacks to stop, they want aid, peace ... but would this "ceasefire" give it to them? The awful news of Israel attacking Iran was the first thing this morning and I think it is all over the net.
But it also drones out the silence in #Gaza - where Israel cut the Internet. Since yesterday news seem to get scarcer and I fear for all the people there who suffered enough but now there is no one able even to report on it.

Next question: I read that #friendica would be a good alternative to FB. I never used FB, but most of the family have accounts there. For a big extended family spread out over five continents this was a real big thing when it came up and I can understand their reluctance to leave it.
