Until Monday, this was the same policy for Girl Guides (which is indeed the sister Organisation of Girl Scouts in the US).
Unfortunately guides were being hit with the threats of multiple legal cases and as such they have caved to the TERFs, under the guise of "legal advice" and "advice from their leaders" and "in order to comply with the Law Lords" etc etc.

yes, I use GrapheneOS as my daily driver and you can use Google Services if you wish. You can also Sandbox them so that those services only interact with a limited set of other services.
In this, the way you set up your device is entirely in your hands and not that of your phone vendor or Google.

one way to bring certain cross benchers in would be via the Guilds. However, to accomplish something like that while bringing in, shall we call them MHPs for "Members of the House of Peers", via a form of jury service from all across the UK might require more than 600 peers, and I would also abolish the Lord's Spiritual as well as hereditary and life peers from sitting.
I would say service for four years for those from the guilds, staggered every two years, and those not from the guilds but from a jury intake for two years as you suggest.
Accommodation could be in an accommodation block, built especially for the purpose, perhaps in an existing military barracks.

yes, although the Iranian regime has been known to force gay men to undergo transition and at a societal level things are not particularly good, and the particular brand of Islam there is, well, problematic where trans identity is concerned.
So they absolutely get some points but lose more points than they gain IMHO.
But it is definitely a bit rich for the UK and US to condemn Persian culture and society outright for what the current Iranian regime is doing after we fucked the country up with the previous Shah regime, while I go to work with a Team Leader who himself is Persian (ancestrally) and frankly couldn't give a shit whether anyone on his team is religious or not, is trans, cis, gay, straight, Muslim, Zoroastrian, Christian or is the Devil Himself!
Meanwhile Herr Stürmer is backing the Tangerine Tyrant in his global ranty rampage and bombing the shit out of people abroad while stripping rights from his own citizens.

in some respects we are already there, with trans people being legislated out of public life in both countries and also, in some places and jobs in the US at least, being required to only wear clothing that society deems matches our “birth sex”.
And there have already been cases of pregnant people being arrested after miscarrying.
Not to mention a retired barrister being accosted in Parliament for simply using the toilet while being trans, and even after ensuring with parliamentary staff which toilets she was permitted to use.
Permitted to use!? Yes, we are now back to the 80s when trans and gender non conforming people (stone butch dykes for example) are getting UTIs because we are terrified of using public bogs.

I am not entirely sure, but first principles should I think go to Marx, "To each according to their needs, and from each according their abilities".
I would have thought that with the kind of IT infrastructure we now have we can find a way to ensure equitable distribution for equitable contribution to society.
This doesn't mean that money as such has to come to a complete end, just that not everything will necessarily have to be exchanged for money.
Interestingly this has been postulated as how the fictional Federation in Star Trek operates.

either build new New Towns, or rebuild existing New Towns to take advantage of the latest in eco build standards, incorporate high quality non polluting public transport, and also have safe and usable walking and cycling infrastructure.
This is possible, as I lived in Basingstoke and had a shopping centre with everything I needed within walking distance yet this by today's standards would be considered a New Town built around the car, which is not entirely an incorrect assessment.
