I believe Arcane to be a **major** turning point in the era of videogames-to-TV adaptations. Most of the lore is in the actual TV show and don't need the watcher to have played the games as Vul said, which is a *huge* bonus (I'm looking at you, DOTA TV Show). Aside from that, the story, the OST and the narrative all kick arses.

My relationship with long videogames

In the past I couldn't, for the life of me, commit myself to playing long games (i.e. 30+ hours) because I fell out of interest and dropped the game.
Lately I started playing two "long" (always keep in mind that this adjective is used by my perspective) games: Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mass Effect 1 (the legendary edition) and weirdly enough, seems like they're sticking with me because I'm alternating one or another throughout the gaming sessions.
I don't know if this pattern will be able to help me with other games as well or if it's just peculiar to those two specific games but I'm crossing my fingers 🤞
Have any of you had a similar experience?

I'm forcing myself to play only two videogames at the time (excluding games like Void Crew, DRG, etc.), one on the Steam Deck and the other on desktop, to avoid losing focus.
I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on desktop (in ultrawide) and The spiritfarer on Deck. While I'm loving the first, the latter seems cozy and I'm enjoying the style, but I'm not sure if it's my jam.
