Reflecting on The Odyssey and Oppenheimer and specifically on Odysseus/Oppenheimer in the contexts created in those movies.
To what extent will these present events become vague mythology in N-thousand years (where N is undefinable) and who will recount them?

Do you ride a motorbike?
Do you live in Naarm or anywhere in/near Australia?
I’m trying to find fellow riders on the fedi, to say Hi and trade hashtags/follows
Boosts very much welcome

EV people seem to always talk “range”, and have this glorious stat called “charging speed” which is literally a speed (kilometres per hour or miles per hour) but it measures how fast you can add range to the battery. Numbers are usually absurd, in excess of Mach 1.

Help me Naarm fedi!
I am looking for maker spaces in the south-eastern / bayside corner of Naarm who might want a few cubic meters of woodwork tools, including a couple of truly magnificent lockable tool chests on wheels.
I’d love to keep them myself, but it’s looking increasingly unlikely that I will have space.
If I can’t keep them, I’d at least like to keep using them, and hopefully meet some awesome people in the process.

Dear Fedi, are binarylane.com.au (A) Actually Australian owned and hosted?
(B) Competent?
(C) Trustworthy?
I need to relocate some stuff off of infrastructure owned by assholes ASAP.
