We dont use contacts data in any of our app version.
The new update helps us more understand how users use the custom timelines and other features of Openvibe & helps us better track the bugs.

We have always been tracking just bare minimum - anonymous data to help us make the app better (and we dont ever sell the data/show ads).
This update doesnt change that. We are now just using the data in a smarter way.

Hi!
We are putting open social networks all together, there is no advertising.
One of those open networks is Nostr where are also bitcoin fans - however, you can simply turn off whichever network you want.
Go to overview (bottom right button) - settings (top right) - timelines - trending - and here you can choose whatever you want 🙂

right now you have to firstly add Bsky feeds in the Bluesky app/web and then it should be displayed in this Openvibe settings as well (try to restart the Openvibe app before that please).
We want to make this easier in the future

PS: Due to Threads API limitations, you can now crosspost to Threads via Openvibe but can't view the Threads timeline (federated profiles are accessible via Mastodon).

definitely a right concern. On the other hand before this there could be a rich discussion about someone without them knowing about it (when you crossposed for example with Bsky tag but the conversation was mainly on Mastodon).
Ultimately the goal is to have crossmention but dont spam users and show only one notification in Openvibe. But we have to get there :)
