Best Mario Kart I ever played! The weight part of the mechanics were the best. With a good boost and a heavier vehicle, you could positively lambast your opponent into the green.
Also, the OG DS looked kinda weird. I'm used to the #DS Lite!

I have a special old keyboard I shall refuse to ever throw away. It was the keyboard I was using while I was working on "Bode3D", an old attempt at a voxel game I was working on when I was a young teen. I got it far enough that I could walk and fly around and explore....
The funny thing is, it's just a keyboard, one I don't even use anymore, and yet I can't even consider getting rid of it.
Some feelings can only be felt, never described. But I suspect we're feeling the same thing.

@nprofile…pg39 I think more political diversity would help. There is a strong far-left leaning here, and I think having more people on the right (but not the far-right, like MAGA level) present would be good in the long run.
When posters fail the liberal purity tests, instead of getting bullied and harassed and dogpiled in the replies, there would be arguments between people who think the purity test must be enforced on everyone, and those who do not. So instead of getting bullied away from the platform, they'd get a typical internet-style comment-section fight, with some people supporting the OP and some people not, where the attention is mostly diverted away from the OP and towards eachother.
It would still be annoying, but it'd be better than the replies mainly being hate towards the OP.

I'm not sure what to think; apparently the Flathub repo maintainers have been getting a lot of spam. I get that; but I hope they see it fit to roll this back someday.
You might know this, but in good Linux fashion, Flatpak isn't tied to one repo (Flathub). (Unlike Ubuntu's Snap... grr).

I enjoyed C.S. Lewis's Out of the Silent Planet. It follows the main character to a different planet, with characters with striking similarities to and striking differences from humans.

I'm really glad #snac uses mode 660 for many of its data files. It makes it really easy for me to add my main user to my server's snac group, and be able to administer as my normal user without su'ing into the snac user.
Lots of people don't seem to think these details through, or they just forget about #unix features. The Snac author ( @nprofile…zmk4 ) did it though! Thanks!
Addendum: I also just learned about using the setgid bit on a directory. That was used, too. Cool! https://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/html_node/Directory-Setuid-and-Setgid.html

Yeah, I hadn't seen that until someone else pointed out that documentation. I removed a lot of the entries, but left some of the colon-surrounded ones I liked like ":shr"+"ug:". Thanks!
And thank you for making and maintaining this software. It really is what I wanted from an AP server. We could do with more "UNIXy" software.

OK, so I'm checking out the features of Snac.
Looks like it has basic Markdown -> HTML converting. Neat.

(I'm not gonna show it all)
It converts some text like 🙂into emoji, which I don't like, though. Leave my #emoticons alone ;)
