Today in our English session with Palestinians from Gaza - some still trapped under siege, others recently displaced - we were asked:
“Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What obstacles stand in your way?”
I still haven’t recovered from the answers. 💔
We tell ourselves “they’re strong” to ease our own conscience.
But they’re human, living through conditions no mind can truly grasp.
They want to live. They want to dream. They deserve to.
