Agreed. I want to love Fountain but it is buggy as hell for me. Also, I just want a playlist of unlistened podcasts and all the live/schedules stuff in fountain is noise. Castamatic seems to work the best for me, but I’m am iOS guy who was exclusively using overcast

Wavlake allows you to upload without needing a host. You can set up splits there too. Not sure about videos

I use https://musicsideproject.com to help with RSS feeds and splits. You still need a place to host it (i use linode with wordpress) but they have good tutorials. Good luck!

Yes, my experience is the latter. Just like a v4v podcast, you offer everything for free and if there’s enough value, the hosts will hopefully add appropriate splits. All the hosts are super passionate about v4v and always do add splits!

Thanks!! I’ve been uploading to distrokid for a few years and heard about V4V music on either podcasting 2.0 or behind the sch3m3s. I found MSP on a v4v tutorial somewhere and haven’t looked back. It’s so nice to make and distribute music in as diy way as possible.
