Carretera Austral 🏔️ is one of the most scenic road in Chile.
We did it from south to north, took a ferry in Puerto Natales to Villa O'Higgins, and rode to Puerto Montt.

Mission status: Paused.
A car made contact with me 😬
I always wear highly protective gear.
My left boot took all the impact, only 2 minor fractures in the foot, ligaments are shocked but fine.
Bike is ok, only a few bend parts.
Boot is totaled.
Car was in bad shape
I will have to rest for 2 or 3 weeks.
Side quest: find a new pair of highly protective boots in a very small town of Argentina 😅
Ngl, I did not planned that in the agenda and budget but things will work out surely, I’m resiIient, I won’t give up now !

tik tak.. 2 mois avant que les motos ne traversent l'atlantique... les chaleurs de ses derniers jours ne sont pas sans nous rappeler la fournaise de l'été dernier à travers les déserts espagnols... au moins on est prêt pour affronter le climat tropical d'Amérique latine !
