This (in the attached screen-shot) is from someone on Twitter who is also on Mastodon and Bluesky.
He seems to be a fan of the nested comments UI on Bluesky.
We have some great applications on the Fediverse. They could be made even greater with this improvement.

I used a custom Internet-domain for a Codeberg Pages (static) website, but am getting an error.
The DNS (CNAME) we set up seems to work fine.
Also, Codeberg Pages seems to successfully redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
But, when I go to the HTTPS version of the website, I get that error.

Has anyone else seen this Codeberg Pages error before?

I want a way to have a user-experience over a Fediverse "Group" that looks more like a Signal or Telegram group chat.
I know it is doable. Someone just needs to implement it.

Localization is important to make Decentralization work and last.
Decentralization without Localization can be susceptible to Centralization.
Decentralization with Localization spreads out decision-making and power to groups (that could consistent of a single individual) with a personal stake in the outcome of the decision-making.
Which creates incentives that lead to greater resilience to Centralization.

I think we should make a point to ALSO explicitly talk about 'Federation' and 'Localization' when we talk about 'Decentralization'.
Because if we don't, then — it is likely these values will be lost.

What I mean is —
WAFRN didn't have to have its own back-end, and could have just plugged into any back-end that supported the ActivityPub client-server API, or the Mastodon client-server API.
If that was the case, you could continue to use your Firefish, Mastodon, or whatever account.

If back-ends and front-ends were separated — you wouldn't have to create yet another account on the Fediverse.
You could use your existing Mastodon or Firefish or whatever account with the WAFRN front-end.
Just like SpaceHost does with the Mangane front-end with the Akkoma back-end.
And others do with the Elk front-end with the Mastodon back-end.
Etc.

Not sure if this is intentional or not, but —
When I try to add @npub1upg…9n89 's account to a starter-pack —
fedidevs.com says his account "is not set as discoverable".
When I look at his activity (application/activity+json) file, it doesn't even have that field.

In Bluesky, each user's data is stored in something called a PDS — personal data server.
A Relay receives new content from all or some subset of PDSes, and aggregates them into a single stream.
Applications then connect to a Relay to get new Bluesky data (rather than connecting to the individual PDSes).

One of the criticisms against Bluesky as a (potential) decentralized social-media (DeSo) network is — regarding Relays.
That, although there technically could be many different Relays provided by many different (separate) people and groups —
In practice, there is only one provided by the Bluesky team. (Thus, Bluesky not decentralized)
That doesn't seem to be true anymore. There is now a 2nd person providing a Relay.
