90% meiner Follower bei Nostr sind entweder Karteileichen oder Fake-Profile. Nostr ist noch hohler, unehrlicher und überflüssiger, als Moltbook, wo wenigstens Austausch stattfindet, wenn auch künstlicher Art.
Nach über 2 Jahren hier - mit Premium-Zugang aber ohne jede Dynamik - denke ich, das wird auch nichts mehr hier mit der Freiheit. Die Menschen wollen Nostr nicht, die Menschen brauchen Nostr nicht.
Wenn ich meinen "Account" (nsec) löschen könnte, würde ich das tun. So werde ich aber ebenfalls zu einer typischen Nostr-Karteileiche und verstärke das Lager derer, die mal reingeschaut haben, aber Nostr den digitalen Geruch von Verwesung bringen...

Ich hab es ja 2 Jahre lang versucht - mit Reiseberichten, Fotos, Manuals, Persönlichem, Lokalkolorit. Es hat keinen interessiert - ich vermute, dass 90% meiner über hundert Follower nur Karteileichen sind. Viele haben sich mal angemeldet, um Nostr zu probieren - aber es schmeckt einfach zu fad!

I've been hanging around here for two years now. And my conclusion is still: No government in the world needs to fear Nostr – people here are almost exclusively preoccupied with themselves, glorifying technology and adoring their Bitcoin bubble. Real life takes place elsewhere.
Sometimes I think the powerful invented Nostr to channel the desire for freedom and neutralize the energy for change.
Nostr is boring. Nostr is one-sided. Nostr is superfluous! And three dozen Nostr celebrities revolve around themselves.

Ehrlich gesagt, ich kann dir nicht viel dazu sagen, fange ja heute selbst erst an! Ich hab mich nach diesem Video gerichtet https://youtu.be/By9wlsLQAjY (Dank an @nprofile…9ctl ). Und frage mich schon gleich am Anfang, ob ich nicht lieber #umbrelOS auf die SSD, statt (wie angegeben) auf die microSD flashen soll.

All we need is a change in mindset among Bitcoiners: “Never sell Bitcoin” or “Stack Sats” is misuse as a store of value, when Bitcoin is supposed to be a cash system! For Bitcoin to be worthwhile for merchants, Bitcoiners must also be willing to let the Satoshis circulate!

I don't think the problem is retailers who are unwilling to accept Bitcoin. The problem is Bitcoiners who are unwilling to spend their satoshis! Even at a German retailer for Bitcoin miners, only 5% of customers pay with BTC! Most Bitcoiners ignore the fact that Bitcoin is supposed to be a cash system and misuse it as a store of value!

I watched the first two episodes of "Pluribus" and even subscribed to #AppleTV for the first time to do so! I'm a fan of Vince Gilligan and consider the series “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” to be by far the best of my lifetime!
I'm still a little torn about “Pluribus,” despite an outstanding performance by Rhea Seehorn!
But I'll watch the season 1 to the end before I cancel AppleTV again, because I generally don't like the bitten apple at all! ;-)

What a shame! #Nostr is dying!
I've noticed that “business as usual” is now spreading on Nostr: there are more and more fake accounts copying entities, following you, and trying to make contact.
Nostr seems to have become so interesting that scamming and faking are starting to pay off there. The only problem with Nostr's freedom and resistance to censorship is that there is no place to report this and no way to delete these jerks. It will be up to each individual to check out every new follower.
In extreme cases, if Nostr really does develop into a major alternative, it is likely to become unbearable there due to scum and scammers.
This makes me despair a little more: humans are apparently not made for freedom, and the removal of oppression, censorship, and regulation immediately unleashes evil.

Das Dumme ist nur, dass sich selten aus Erfahrungen der Vergangenheit Vorhersagen für die Zukunft machen lassen! Wir erleben ja gerade, dass Bitcoin sein gewohntes "Verhalten" ändert!
Außerdem: Konsum und Investment auf Kredit, also auch Bitcoin per "Sondervermögen" ist für mich nichts weiter, als die Übernahme schlechter Gewohnheiten aus der Fiat-Welt!

- in einer Stadt mit 22.000 Arbeitslosen, in der über die Hälfte von Transferleistungen lebt, findet sich niemand für diese einfache Tätigkeit.
Oder ist es die steigende Kriminalität mit ständigen Tankstellenüberfällen in der Nacht?

Früher war Bauen arbeitstechnisch aufwändig - und trotzdem wurden liebevolle Details geschaffen.
Heute ins Bauen relativ einfach und trotzdem ist nur Schlichtes umsetzbar bei dennoch unfassbaren Kosten.

...jedenfalls wohl kaum viel tiefer, als die deutschen Medien, bzw. die Presse, die sich auf der linken Seite wähnt. Allen voran der ÖRR:
- Diejenigen, die Hass und Hetze verbreiten, aber behaupten, sie wären Opfer davon.
- Diejenigen, die vorgeben, "unsere Demokratie" zu retten, aber für ein Verbot der Opposition eintreten.
- Diejenigen, die für sich Werte proklamieren, die sie anderen nicht zugestehen.
- Diejenigen, die Rassimus und Pauschalisierung bemängeln, aber selbst alle Menschen anderer Meinung pauschal in die Gruppe "Rechts" einordnen.
- Diejenigen, die einst für Frieden waren und heute rufen "Waffen, Waffen, Waffen!"
Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass in unserem Land in so kurzer Zeit wieder solche Verhältnisse entstehen. Und doch: Wer sich fragt, wie die 1930er passieren konnten: Weil die Menschen damals so waren, wie sie heute sind!

Sonntag: Kommunalwahlen hier in NRW: Jeder, der die Möglichkeit zur Wahl hat, sollte überlegen, ob er denen sein Vertrauen ausspricht, die es schon seit Jahrzehnten missbrauchen - und für die Spaltung und den Niedergang unserer Kommunen und unseres Landes verantwortlich sind.
Wer *nicht* wählt, spricht den derzeitigen Polit-Darstellern genauso sein Vertrauen aus, wie die, welche CDU, SPD oder Grünlinke wählen.
Beklagt euch hinterher nicht über vergammelte Ortsteile, Schlaglöcher in den Straßen, kaputte Infrastruktur, exorbitante Hebesätze bei der Grundsteuer, Gewalt in Freibädern (sofern es noch welche gibt) und auch nicht über die überregionalen Probleme!
Es ist vielleicht das letzte Mal vor dem Explodieren des Pulverfasses, auf das wir uns gewählt haben. Und vielleicht das letzte Mal, dass wir jemanden ans Ruder wählen können, der noch nichts vergeigt hat und vielleicht mit neuen Ideen eine Trendwende einläuten kann.
*DAS* und nur das ist Demokratie!

Vor ziemlich genau 2 Jahren habe ich den Kaninchenbau erstmalig betreten.
Wenn ich heute überlege, was #Bitcoin mir seitdem gebracht hat:
- Hoffnung und Zuversicht,
- Freude an innovativer Technik,
- Neues Vertrauen in die Zukunft,
- Ende des Gefühls der Machtlosigkeit,
- Neue Kontakte zu reflektierten Menschen,
- und natürlich echte und rechnerische Profite
Bitcoin wirkt, Bitcoin funktioniert. Sofort, im Hier und Jetzt!

In Germany, digital vehicle registration documents and digital driving licenses are currently being tested on smartphones. Together with the health insurance ID card and the ePA, a passport on a cell phone and even payment cards, this is a further step - towards a smartphone as the obligatory key to a civic identity! Which can then be restricted, stolen or switched off completely at any time.
This is a dystopia of total control and power over people that will very soon become reality - at least in Europe.
People will only realize it when it is too late. It's so convenient and practical!
