We have to train this in ourselves as it’s easy for our passion to come across as arrogance as what good is being right if not persuasive as well?

I’m not sure if @nprofile…27cf is referring to a law like UK that prohibits mean words against lbgq+ (or whatever they are), but wouldn’t be surprised. Nevermind the lack of mechanism to fight back (which you are right), I just don’t think we even have the critical mass of non NPCs required to actually stand against the regime.

The Australian psyche IMO isn’t assertive enough, the “She’ll be right mate” attitude is our downfall. Just look at how hard the average Australian bent over for daddy government during covid. We don’t have an origin story of rebellion like the founding fathers, our origin story is we came here as convicts. The NPC runs deep here.

Agree brother. Been a borrower and a lender on the platform and I would like it if @npub1yul…ncdu would give the option for longer terms. As to the rates, that is completely at the discretion of the lender and it will come down when there is more competition for BTC backed lending. SAB21 to change this maybe?
