I can do that but it'll be very few words. Before I directly answer your query, it is important to understand the context of it. I have a fondness for rain. Sitting Sesshin at a Zen Centre can be VERY tough.
The schedule is wake up at 5am, on your cushion by 5:30am and sit until breakfast in 25 minute sessions of Zazen (meditation: returning to focus again and again) with 5-7 minute period of walking meditation bebetween. All of this is 100 percent silent other than bells and clappers to guide the Sangha so the Sangha does not need to think or worry. After that about 30 minutes to serve yourself and eat followed by a short Sutra service, the Zazen until lunch. Lunch is short just like breakfast because the entire Sesshin is in order to facilitate as much sitting (Zazen) as possible. Typically there is a short 30-45 minute break after lunch then ore sitting until dinner. Again a short break and more sitting until bed between 9:45-10pm roughly.
By that time you are exhausted. These retreats (Sesshin) last a week. There is no eye contact or speaking allowed. Sitting can be painful. Our thoughts can be painful. Sitting on the cushion breathing in and out and enduring our very own poisonous mind with its machinations and all of that is tiring.
I have a fondness for the sounds of rain. Sitting in a wet valley, with rain dripping off of everything. Merging with the drip drop, splash of rain.
This June where I live, it was particularly rainy. I love this because it makes sitting so lovely. 25 minutes can seem like hours or seconds. Time disappears in one's total absorbtion in one's practice. I wrote the poem directly after sitting in the morning here at home.
Now I'll answer your question

While I generally in a broad sense have sympathy for some of Jung's work, it also has some pitfalls. There is logically no such thing as a 'collective consxiousness' other than in the context of some national identity including stories, etc. People are individuals. We are all exposed to different stories through our own unique experiences and lives.
It isn't possible to say that I as a Canadian am a part of some collective consciousness. My life is different than that of my friends, parents and fellow citizens. There is perhaps some overlap but that is it.
I went through Analysis with a respected Jungian Analyst here several years ago. His Analysis was great but... he also invited me into a dream work group.
People in the group, particularly intellectual university types bullied people who had unique views and used 'collective consciousness' as an argument to belittle people and mock their dreams.
To understand Jung and his work, you have to go deep. Skimming the surface and using his work inappropriately and without understanding causes harm.
Dreams are formulated from symbols. These symbols are unique to each individual. Our dreams are about our own inner subconscious and when we dream we express ourself in our own metaphors.
For example, dreaming of a particular friend or family member is a metaphor for what that person means to us. Dreaming of chocolate could be a metaphor for just plain eating, a sickly sweet personality, overindulgence, some metaphor involving its texture, smell, etc. The work of dreams is self discovery and the metaphors are the mind trying to understand itself.
Metaphysics is not real. The world is real and so are we.

Banning Whatsapp would not be a bad thing. It's owned by fiat social media criminals Meta.

Well that is really a whole other thing.
0xChat and SimpleX are both fully e2e. So they are secure. And as far as we know, not back doored.
If your friends are screenshotting sensitive information then you have a friend problem not an app problem. If screenshits are being used as an argument for Signal, which is back doored... It isn't.
You can set the chats in both 0xChat and SimpleX auto delete after X time. Not perfect but at least something.
