I understand the world is falling apart, or at least part of it, but I can’t do anything about that right now.

When you stand out of the way and tell the cops in advance, and you don’t disturb anyone, that’s not an effective protest in my opinion. It’s a circle jerk.

I’m trying out a THC drink additive called Major. You drop a capful in your drink and that’s supposed to be roughly 10mg. I’m going to stick with one dose for the evening and see how it goes, and how long it lasts, especially since I’m drinking it over time. I added it to my 20oz Yeti with seltzer and a splash of Sprite Zero.

This may sound bizarre, but I think my sense of smell has improved since losing the long beard. It could be my imagination, but I suspect that the beard balm I was using, which was pretty heavily scented, was masking all these other smells. I think I’m getting the hang of making some bangin’ chicken wings. I have this great rub someone turned me onto, then I lightly coat them with Ray’s Original hot sauce by putting the wings in a big ziplock after they’re done cooking, and dress them. They’re not dripping with sauce. You taste the rub and the natural char, with a light touch of heat. I think they’re pretty awesome. In the American League, the higher seeds beat the lower seeds in the Wildcard round, and in the NL, the reverse occured. Anything can happen in the playoffs but I suspect that whoever wins the NLCS will win the WS. I just think the NL is stronger than the AL this year.

I used to be an avid golfer. I played a lot of golf. Too much, in fact, and got really good. I was ready to break 80—an incredible feat—then I quit.

I’m honestly just surprised that not a single billionaire with liberal leanings has come forward to build a media empire, or at least a national newspaper. Maybe there are no liberal billionaires, in which case, that’s the problem that isn’t going away.

I have come to accept that American Blacks have a distinct dialect that may not always follow formal English structure. It still amounts to slang to me but I recognize its existence.
I cannot, however countenance its use by white people.
