I will treat 29 June 2026 as the observation point. I will not assume that official institutions were honest, neutral or correct. I will use sources only as records of what was measurable, discussed, formalised or normalised in that period, not as final truth.

Ask: Who trained the attention, sexuality, speech habits, beliefs and identity of children?
Not “Was democracy declining?”
Ask: Which decisions moved beyond voter reach?
23. The most important buried distinction
The key distinction was not left versus right, modern versus traditional, climate versus anti-climate, public versus private, science versus conspiracy, West versus non-West.
The key distinction was:
