My wife pointed out similar about weight to me the other day.
Men will state an ideal weight while then pursuing women dramatically outside their stated weight preference because, just like the height preference, most men cannot accurately eyeball determine a woman's weight.

Because the Republicans are retarded. Demographically, by race, whites are the only group that votes right when. Obviously, exceptions like Clarence Thomas exist. But elections are not determined by exceptions. They are determined by norms.
If you continue to bring in people who vote for left-wing issues as a group, then you will simply get more leftists.

As a gun person, let me explain how naive all that is.
Fences, gates, cameras, and alarms all gave the same few problems:
1) they don't STOP much if anything. People go over, around or past them
2) they do not protect you or anyone else out in public
3) they do not solve the problem of bad people. At best, the simply encourage bad people to target your neighbors instead.
4) the value of your fence, unless it is some barbed wire or other monstrosity, is entirely dependent on police or yourself using force--like guns--to dissuade someone just knocking it down, ignoring your camera, and doing it anyway. At the end of the day, if you do not trust the gov to have your back, your fence is useless for home defense without guns. They don't knock your fence down only because you or the police would shoot them for it.
2) stun/taser/tranquilizers:
1) they can and DO kill anyway
2) they don't actually stop targets, especially the most dangerous ones. They are also harder to redeploy when you miss. And that difficulty in redeployment is particularly dangerous when you have to respond to multiple targets. Don't fall for the wishful thinking that that would never happen. If you get blindsided by a threat, there's a good chance you have no way of knowing how many people are actually after you.
3) those things are deliberately useless on offense. But if the thing you're defending is not yourself, but your kid who ran off too far or just got grabbed? You bought the propaganda that's built to tell you to not arm yourself at the one thing that actually harms the biggest infringer of your rights: Daddy government.
DOGS
1)Back to the kid's thing: any dog that can do all that is not usually trustworthy around children.
2) when the bad guy has to gun, they'll just shoot the dog. Chihuahuas are literally bred as guard dogs... They are designed to be so small and non threatening that they don't get shot, but yap loud enough to let the human with a gun know that bad guys are around.
3) to the dog like that is way greater than most people, especially in an urban setting, can handle.
The majority of good gun owners, like myself, literally carry every single day and you would never notice and they don't talk about it. Don't buy the CNN narrative about it. They want to lie by statistics to disarm you so they can replace you with foreigners so that you get stabbed anyway like in the UK. Guns are the ONLY way to hold territory against people who have guns or numbers over you. Everything else about the argument is a red herring.

Yep. Cantillion effect at its finest. The problem is that tariffs don't work to protect local business if you are the fiat reserve currency. There is a reason why early America used them and post-fiat America stopped doing so.
If you are the reserve currency, you WANT the world to have your money to buffer the value of your currency. No one wants or will spend what they cannot have. That's the reason the bureaucracy is addicted to throwing US money to every ridiculous cause you can think of across the world. It doesn't matter if the cause is gender studies in Pakistan, the point is to give Pakistan USD so that they have some to spend on oil, thereby helping buffer the value of that USD.
That's the point that trump is either unable to understand or selecting to ignore.

I agree with you. The issue was that the man was going, "hey, women can be irrational and petty". And then a woman was going, "no, that never happens. You're just an incel" thus proving his point. Then she got mad at me for pointing that out.
But also agreed, the evil man is the tyrant and the evil woman is the hysterical manipulator Karen. It's the same psychology with different tactics due to generally physical differences.

Thanks for being more honest about it at least. I wish it was so easy for the rest of us. There was no pursuading or combatting the women in our neighborhood. Beating them to the objective was our only option... And thank heavens we succeeded.

Sad to hear that Karenism had to lash out at this poor man.
My neighborhood had a similar issue. There was a bunch of stupid teenagers doing ding-dong ditch. But two of my more hysterical female neighbors convinced themselves that these kids broke into their garages. I saw the footage that they put out in the neighborhood group chat. No such burglary occurred.
But they would not shut up about it nor hear contradictory statements regarding their own footage. They kept going until they convince skme of the other neighbors that these kids were doing way more than just ding-dong-ditch. This is in a state with castle doctrine and stand your ground laws. I had to stay up late at night hunting for these kids to let them know that stupid rumors were gonna get them shot for burglary because people don't know to shut their mouths.
Sure the kids were dumb, but the hysterics were just gasoline on the fire and made everything worse.
Thankfully, my wife did some wizardry and found one of the kids' fathers. Saved those kids lives.

If you take a monkey, a fish, and an elephant and decide that they must all live the same way because they are not different in anyway... Then you decide that, since all of them are the same, that is only fair to the fish that the monkey and the elephant share their land with him... So you start flooding their homes to help the fish be there... But now these places are unsuitable for the monkey and elephant... So those two move to higher ground, try to levy the flood zones, and try to point out that fish are different... So you punish the monkeys and the elephants for doing this and ban them from stopping the water... So the monkeys and the elephants start fighting the fish...
Hopefully you get the point here. When people ARE different but you treat them as if they are not and force them together, the resulting environment forces conflict between them because the choice came from somewhere and will always naturally favor one of the different types over the others. The resulting conflict is not from "differences" in the elite plan, but from telling a monkey it is no different than a fish and, by extension, threatening to drown it.

The mainstream narrative is "anything you can do, I can do better" and punishing punishing people that imply otherwise. The mainstream only acknowledges differences when it is convenient to scapegoat traditionally-minded straight white men. You don't have to be in control of all or most of that infrastructure on Nostr. The benefit of a decentralized protocol is that some clients or relays might ban you, but it is not a single point of failure, and others might not.
It is also far easier to create a new account or multiple new accounts if the first one got banned, but I haven't verify yourself.
A good example is that Facebook banned Donald Trump and he couldn't even make a new account. Anything with his name or with his associated identifiers like email addresses also got banned anytime we try to make something new. With permissionless account creation, he or anyone else banned similarly could just make a thousand new accounts and circumvent stuff.
Also, the open source nature of the protocol means that even if you got banned by every existing client, you could literally just make your own and then lock back in anyway.
Obviously, there's no perfect answer. But this is a heck of a lot better than any other centralized program where one admin that hates you can just delete everything and there is no recourse.

I call it the reasonableness bias. Cutting edge alt tech communities naturally attract the exceptional and less herd-minded of individuals. This means #nostr is already non-representative, even for men, but even MORESO for the resident ladies as women are on-average more herd-like already.
But I think it is also a refusal to confront modernities broken blank slatism. The blank slate only makes sense for conceptual consciousness, NOT IQ, not emotional frameworks, etc. A smart person was likely born smart... He is a blank slate in so far as he cannot grow up to be a communist in the 300s AD before it was even invented. But he could create a rough equivalent if he wished because human inequality is partially innate.
The detailed contents and ideological framework might be blank slate at birth, but the framework must be and only CAN be built around the pillars built by nature in that person by his ancestry and upbringing. And trying to slap the roof of the Parthenon on the frame of of a modern residential house will cause both to collapse.
And acknowledging this poor fit doesn't even mean disliking or degrading either the home or the Parthenon: they have different roles for different contexts and are both the superior alternative for the context in which they were designed.
But that gets into the forbidden topic of gender roles and the like... Maybe I'll elaborate later. But the comments on this post from women are telling as to how bad the mind virus is even in the exceptional women self-selected by use of this protocol.

No, the elite are blank slatists that debank people for sharing crime statistics or psychological studies that show any inherent difference between races and sexes. They do want conflict, but the conflict is designed to obliterate differences, not acknowledge them. You have the enemy plan literally backwards.

Yep. I've been saying this for while. That's why I don't do much crypto talk despite believing in it. I have this profile for my opinions, another music, and another for ttrpgs. Nostr doesn't need another monero bro.

The Brits are the only empire in history to end chattel slavery.
You are conflating multiple time periods and then acting like you are smart. The debt slavery of whites was in the 1500 and 1600s. The chattel slavery of non-whites was from the 1600-1800s. And, in the 1800s, they had banned slavery in their entire empire, which was actively a point of contention during the US Civil War.
I can do a lot of things with historical narrative if I want to pretend away 300 years of change in that country. Did you know that Japan is run by a shogun and that they behead all foreigners that visit anywhere but one single port?

That is literally how India and most of the former British colonies got their freedom...
by appealing to the English's own moral taboos around racism and poor treatment.
In fact, it seems that European powers are the only powers for whom this has proven to be inherently false.

It's sad the architect of the protocol is undercutting its founding principles.
Censoring speech is not what nostr needs to gain larger adoption. It needs to attract more creatives. Nostr now has discord in Armada. It needs tiktok/Instagram.

The issue is that we won't de-throne these centralized servers by not participating. In order to make Monero or Bitcoin money, it requires wider scale adoption and to encourage larger scale adoption means getting the word out. It's a deluxe sword. You're informing the powers that be and the cabal about what you're doing and where the levers of decentralized commerce are. But you're also driving the adoption and getting the word out about the alternative to break the cabal's stranglehold.

I can't speak to the download and upload speeds, but personally I don't use cable anyway, so that's irrelevant from my perspective, and thus, not included in the calculus for my previous statements.

And I'm glad to have you around. The environment is definitely changing. But the most common criticism I get from people who have supposedly tried nostr and left is "there's nothing but bitcoin there". I think a lot of that has to do with the default feeds and default UIs of the client's they are joining nostr on.

Meanwhile, the normies just see #bitcoin #nostr on every post and assume that there is no life to the ecosystem, and therefore, nothing backing it. Most Normies only understand BTC as an investment asset due to kyc and propaganda.
What they need to see is stuff like @npub1zj6…2zmp just running a normal looking business or @npub1tdv…qjsm or @npub12zn…6yg6 just making music without proselytizing.

I blocking the obvious hashtags (e.g.: "underage") is a good step there that should be done. There is really only one REAL solution... But that requires crusading.

What I am saying is that, if they find those profiles and nuke them, they will be replaced just like Gaza guy. Many of them probably have 5 alts just as an insurance policy. And putting client-level filters has their own problems. I notice my poster chan and amethyst feeds look very different. We don't need more of that kind of feed control on nostr... It is what a lot of us left traditional social media to avoid.

They can't even get rid of that Gaza guy. Every time people mas report and block him, he just makes a new duplicate account. One of the drawbacks to nostr's censorship resistant is that it is really resilient to censorship... Even the terrible stuff.
I don't think it is as simple as "do you even check?"

Sure. But Occam's razor suggests the simplest solution is the fact that she was in her 80s and had already done other things to her body that cause damage like plastic surgery. I'm sure the vaccine didn't have that much of an impact, all things considered.

It isn't though. They both lawyered up. Lawyering up isn't what makes Fauci guilty... Being a lying shitbag that has already been caught 30 times in the past few years and should of hanged 3 days after the first time Rand Paul caught him lying about his involvement with making COVID.

Julian assange wasn't guilty but needed a lawyer anyway.
Don't get me wrong, Fauci is guilty AF and needs to swing in public. But his decision to lawyer up isn't what proves he is guilty.
