Yes, mental illness is very common in nursing, but it develops as a reaction to the hopelessness of being subordinate to egotistical narcissistic doctors. When you're dying in a hospital, the nurses can save you, but half the fight is with the ignorance of the doctors. I know this from experience as a patient. And nurses will tell you : the best way to survive anything is to never stay in a hospital.

Here's an idea (I'm not a doctor - all caveats apply) - you could divide the dosage into a few parts (4? 4 seems reasonable) and space taking them. The reason is that your kidneys are only balancing out the blood. They keep your blood in a homeostatic state, which is a separate issue from a deficiency. If the dose is too high (arguably if any is leaving via urine, its too high) then it'll leave via kidneys even if you're deficient. Just an idea, idk, never read about this.

I'm a bit unsure about how it works, but my current best stab at it is that kidneys filter out what's perceived to be an excess of a mineral, and everything hits the gut first. The gut can handle "bioavailable " minerals easier because gut bacteria prefer to eat stuff that's already bound into some longer molecule - the gut then puts the nutrients into the bloodstream, where either your body uses them or the kidneys filter out excess. Magnesium is a double hit on the kidneys because first it causes a rush of water to the gut, which stresses kidneys (the body has a hierarchy of water priority, and kidneys are higher than gut in priority) and second because the nephrons in the kidneys are so small that mineral crystals can be a tight fit - protein even more so - and that's actually good because nephrons are the filter. But you increase the damage to the nephron's this way. In healthy kidneys its no problem - they're healing at a faster rate than the damage - but the more damaged they are, the more damage they'll take. So, I think more bioavailable magnesium would be better, but if the gut is damaged, then it'll leak more into the bloodstream, where it won't matter if its bioavailable or not.
I'm not 100% about all this.

This gut-kidney axis is the biggest thing I've learned. Paying attention to the pee bubbles is big, too. If you're forming kidney stones, it depends on what they're made of, but most commonly they're made of oxalates, so certain vegetables should be avoided - spinach is a major no-no for me. Also start walking a lot, if you're not already - walking is the best thing for lowering blood pressure, and I think most kidney problems are caused by high blood pressure. And about BP, its tempting to cut salt and then think you're doing something - that's a trap. Like, yeah, don't eat too much, but too low salt can have the same effect as too much. Always make sure your pee is light colored, like lighter than lemonade, and that the bubbles pop quickly - thats about protein leakage, which weakened kidneys will leak. Avoid pills that damage kidneys - magnesium supplements are damaging, and pain killers (I always forget which, but one common pain killer kills kidneys and the other kills liver - always sacrifice the liver, since it can heal, whereas kidneys are much less likely to ever heal, though I think its possible). Hmm, what else... Smaller meals are better than larger meals because larger meals cause more work for kidneys. And its possible to calculate your maximum protein intake based on % remaining functionality, though I haven't bothered yet.
Well... Yeah.
On the bright side, learning all this can be fun.

I think the closest thing to that that I've tried is Anki - virtual flash cards - and I didn't really like it. My study strategy is mostly to just read things I enjoy and let the pieces fall where they fall. When classes start, I hope to fall back on my old strategy of teaching what I don't know - sounds like nonsense, but its the best way to learn, IMO. The risk of sounding dumb in front of real people makes me internalize things.

I've transitioned from a sit-down pooter dude to a roam around with phone in hand dude. I think the reason is actually how limited the phone is. On my computer, I just make messes. On my phone, its a lot harder to to that, and the relatively less noise/clutter makes it a more repeatable experience.

🤔 the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that an Orange Party is necessary.
What we all (seemingly) want to do is form a new community in the real world, own land, and homestead. All problems are already solved on the tech front. We can fully, independently, and sovereignly techstead right now.
The last remaining macro problem is state violence and their taxes. And one more "micro" problem : actually getting the land. Well, this exact problem has been solved many times in history. For the big problem, holding political seats and having a platform can effectively shield us. Maybe it helps push the agenda, maybe not, but it can certainly make us too prickly to touch. For the individual property problem, we can solve that by collective bargaining. Relax, I'm not making any commie case. Most land in the world is held by governments and corporations. There truly is no shortage of land, and I encourage everyone to analyze this for yourselves. The problem is getting that land for us to legally use. You know that humongous mountain range in North America, called Rockies in the south and Cascades in the north, and going all the way down through Mexico? That's almost entirely owned by the governments, which excuse their squatting by claiming that no one wants it. Well, I'll take some... So its BS to claim no one wants it. What they mean is, no corporation can run a combine over it and harvest millions of bushels of whatever off it. The only chance we have to break the grip of the government/corporations (effectively the same thing) is to have a seat at the table, politically, and be a force that has to be taken seriously. I don't just want chickens - I want a waterfall, my own electricity, I want to own all of my own infrastructure, and apple trees and blueberry bushes, and I want to build a corner 3d print shop that takes orders to build and deliver whole cars. This is 100% capitalism, and in no way a commie thing - but we're going to have to play ball to crack this open. We're going to have to become the deal makers and the power brokers.
I think its time for bitcoiners to mature from dreamers and builders into decision makers and deal makers. I don't know where to start with this, or what /if anything/ has already been done, but we have to start, so here's my start : a nostr note and a hashtag or two, looking for more information.

Ah weidai, been a while since I read his stuff. I'm just gonna trust him with that math. The idea seems right, though, at least conceptually. I'm trying to imagine the actual physical mechanism of transferring heat to a black hole, and the idea hits problems there. You'd still be stuck with radiators, and I'm not sure what advantage there is to sparing space the radiation that you want to expel. Maybe the advantage is stealth. Or maybe over a few million years the captured energy amounts to something useful.

Someone tell me if this could work :
Hash videos and audio files of important events or speeches or lectures, be a bit of a spammer and put those hashes into a block, and then future people can reference those to see if a recording is legit. Assuming the first copy was legit, of course.
Here's the problem : I looooove listening to old lectures. Lately, I've been catching these recordings actually being AI fakes. Richard Feynman and Alan Watts are both being faked a lot right now. Its their voice - but I never heard that lecture, and its doing the "this not that" thing a lot... They're fake. We're not going to have any history if this continues. The fake stuff will drown out the real stuff.

IMO gold will be a common currency again, simultaneously with bitcoin. I know the "winner take all" theory is popular, but, well, it's wrong. What will change is the need for governments to stamp art on the gold because without debasement (taken away by bitcoin), there's no use for that art. People will use little gold pellets and have little handheld machines that vaporize the gold and run mass spectrometry on it to verify purity. The same machines will have built in bitcoin wallets and a QR display.

Same, I just return what I see, be it niceness or assness. Could be better by just being silent when its a case of assness. But... I'm me, I reflect and magnify, its hard to stop.
In this case, she was asking questions that appear pointed, designed to get responses, and then she never responded to people in her notes. I watched for a while to see if it might be a technical issue, but consistency persuaded me that there was something psychopathic going on. Then I realized that I've seen that before, so it's a pattern and can be a heuristic.

That would be Meister Eckhart, not Eckhart Tolle. I like Tolle, but unfortunately he is another example of the entropy of quality, the force of degradation in the world. You search for "Eckhart" and you get pages and pages of Tolle, and no Meister. But Meister is the real deal and Tolle, though still good, is the lower quality replacement. When you notice quality entropy, you notice it everywhere, and it truly truly truly blows my mind that I've never heard another person mention it.
