Amiga was da bomb back in the day for art and animation. Had a friend who did all her pixel animations on an Amiga for her AP art classes. These are gorgeous, excellent work!

"Enshittification" isn't real. That's just capitalism extracting maximum value for shareholders at the cost of human life. Same for "shrinkflation". You're just describing what capitalism does. By using cutesy terms you're obscuring that the problem is capitalism. You're going to be hip deep in flood water talking about enshittification because billionaires burned up the planet for a two point rise in stock prices. You sound like you're complaining that there are ads on the orphan crushing machine!

The entire point is mass death of disabled and elderly people. This administration has all but called us "useless eaters", once we're not dying fast enough, the rhetoric about how much we're costing "taxpayers" and how we don't contribute to society will ramp up to build public hatred for us. That will make the next step of putting us in their ICE detention centers to kill us even easier.
Edit: I know I keep sounding alarmist, my grandparents' families were still in Germany, and some cousins with developmental disabilities were killed under Aktion T4. I don't need to wait to see how the story ends this time.

People say "everyone" is on one of the big corporate social media services, but what they mean is that the people whose livelihoods depend on reaching an audience of thousands or millions are in those services and the rest of the users join to be part of the audience.
I'm not interested in being an audience, not for celebrities or news organizations, not for influencers and "content creators", sadly not even for artists I like. My primary goal in using the Internet is to make human connections and communicate with individual people.
I feel it's absolutely fine that most of the people who spend their time advertising their goods or themselves stay on the massive social media platforms, doing their advertising to people who want to be an audience.
