Love it.
I completely agree with the sentiment: *consider sending other bloggers a nice message*
Making blogging more social is great, and I reach out to lots. Just remember to have some way of people being able to contact you. Often I want to say Hi, and acknowledge a great post but there's not way to do that. Shame.

It's huge step to recognise the burnout, and an even more rewarding (I hope) one to actually write about it and be open. A problem shared, and all that...
It's amazing how it can creep up on you and suddenly one day your world is imploding. I think you have seen that, and are now moving on. Don't push your new attitude too hard - take it slowly. Your mental health is so important.
It's interesting that you drafted the blog post almost two years ago..

Oh, and I'm ok you no longer following me. I used to get the occasional mention in dispatched, but I seem to have been dumped. I am cool with that. I did not cry about it over a bottle of red wine. 🤪

I enjoyed this article. Good details. But I want to be a devil and call you out on something. I am not a fan of acronyms as they assume a level of knowledge from your reader. I think you could enhance this article by defining what CVE stands for, in the opening paragraph.

It's absurd that mastodon admins can't change a setting on their admin panel to increase post character limit. It's not rocket science.
Mastodon lags behind on so many simple things that other fediverse software implements quickly. It like the mastodon boffins have created a 'industry' for the simplest of changes.
