⛰🐐 Everest Vert Week 🐐⛰
accomplished
A final easy stair climber session and 8925m of EG for the week are in the books.
Together with the stairs in the city I also managed to "collect" 39914 stairsteps. Both numbers might become relevant in the future... 🤫🙃
2 weeks left until Niesen Treppenlauf.🪜🇨🇭
The month of May also saw a total of 24589m of EG.

Ice and snow and mud. The EXOspikes were useless today. Took my MICROspikes crampons (“Grödel”) and went for a 90 minute speed hike. Good session to just be out there, enjoy the weather and train doing secure steps with the crampons. It was quite nice actually and one could see the city lights from the top of the hills. Beautiful views. #trailrunning #running #speedhiking

man ist ja doch schon langsamer unterwegs - nicht so sehr anstrengend. Aber halt anders anstrengend. Man ändert ja die Pace andauernd. Und auch die Füße/Fußgelenke müssen mehr arbeiten. Der große Unterschied ist dass man im Kopf müder wird da man doch die ganze Zeit und ohne Unterbrechung Entscheidungen treffen muss bei der Wahl des „Weges“. Und dem studieren der Karte (orientierung). Macht aber sehr viel Spaß.
